In total shock of Bobby's announcement! At first, it pissed me off that he would do this now, however, after hearing his press conference and his reason for retirement, I fully understand it! Working in a job that you no longer enjoy is not pleasant experience! When my job was not enjoyable, I retired too.
Excited about Coach Kennedy, many of my coach friends have all praised him as "an Awesome Coach!" Now he is our Head coach and Griz nation we need to get behind him and support this team. Bobby brought him here for this reason.

Thank you to Bobby Hauck for all your years of leadership, dedication, sacrifices and most of all your friendship to Griz nation, you are a Legend!
 
Expect to see more "freeing up" the reigns for the OC and DC. Expect to see more film room work and less practice, something this team could have used wisely with no bye week last season. Expect to see players on the 1-2 deep earlier in their careers. Expect to see changes you didn't see last year from a less rigid leader, but a tightening of discipline with the fundamentals.

Some people just thrive on change. Let's hope there are lots of them in camp this fall.

So depressing… Haslam is clearly out of his depth and needs to go.

This is not how functional organizations conduct transitions. It’s an idiotic approach.

My only hope is the new Prez decides they want to put their own stamp on things and decides to do this the right way…

I mean it is also February and by the time you conduct a national search which could take up to 2-3 weeks, and then the time it takes to hire a staff and go out recruiting, you may not be starting Spring Ball until May. It doesn't make sense to do in February. The time for that was in December. We're gonna be fine. This is still a very talented team that could make a good playoff run if they all buy in and work together. Let's give this team a chance and see what they can do!

Don't get me wrong, I'm fine with how its going down and I'm excited to see what BK can do.
