Awful news ads

Is it just me or are the new video ads that pop up awful? I can’t even make them go away after they finish playing so I can’t even see the threads now. Is there a way to make them go away or get rid of them altogether?

Having the same problem. End up refreshing the page five or six times to make the ads disappear. Site is basically unusable on my phone

I recommend downloading and using Brave as your internet browser. It blocks popups and protects your information.

I use Brave. What you guys are talking about I do not know because there are very few ads or none at all.

Need to get a pop up blocker for your phone

I get no ads on my desktop.

Desktop with a good ad blocker will be fine. Tougher on a phone. I switched to DuckDuckGo for egriz on my phone a few years ago and never see an ad

Thanks for the tech recommendation EG, I just grabbed DDG and it works great. No more annoying ads!
