He's had in-person visits with recruits. Kids on the team have shared pictures with me when Bobby has come to visit them. He's not an attention whore like Vigen. Although I would say that in today's attention-seeking and look-at-me culture, it would be a good idea to share the pictures but Bobby isn't going to sacrifice his principles.

When I was coaching high school basketball we had a number of elite basketball players who went to play in the Big East and Big Ten. There were times the head coach would stop by and times one of the assistants would stop by to visit. In the end, it didn't matter to the kid who visited. What I learned from the experience was that the head coach didn't trust their assistants to evaluate talent/kids and wanted to see the kid in person to judge for themselves.

The kids should be sharing the photos. It is cool to show one of the best teams in college football’s head coach came to visit you. If I was a high school student I would want to show that off on social media.
Rejecting the sharing of any sort of information is such an idiotic policy in this day and age. Dude is stuck in a Cold War era coaching mentality.

Same. going on 37 years with my wife, four grown adult progeny, all pretty successful, five grandkids, had the corner office on the top floor, small circle of select friends, and enjoy spending time with my eGriz tribe. Heck I even enjoy pretty much everyone but HHB. gotta say, he's the first person I have ever put on block since 2007. Yeah I know it says I joined in 2017. I didn't . I was Grizfan_1968 and a couple of others since that time. I thought about changing my name since I don't live in Vegas anymore, but then the people who strongly dislike me wouldn't know who I am.

With all due respect, they're doing the exact same thing that every other coaching staff in America is doing. This is the normal, coaches travel around, meet with coaches and players and recruits. Now in fairness, most programs are sending the HC and position coaches out, not the director of recruiting and assistant OL coach.
/in all seriousness, I know that UM's position coaches and Bobby are on the recruiting trail too. It's no fun without some jokes though!

TM is a great guy, always welcoming, sharing, caring, happy, generous. Served the USA in the Navy, loves guns, sunshine and freedom. Has some killer vintage cars. Always lets us sit in his sky box for the Alamo Bowl. Dude has a beautiful wife, great kids. He's a leader and extremely successful business man. I would bet money that he makes at least 6 or 7 times what 7-11 and Dominoes pays you a year. The dude at times even loans us his houses in Texas or Arizona for golf trips when he is not using them. You don't even want to see pictures of the plane he owns, seriously who has marble countertops in their plane? Thisa guy------>AZGrizFan
He also loves whiskey and there are very few bad people that love whiskey.
P.S. Since all the good posters on this site left almost a decade ago, AZ is the only great one left. Cherish this national treasure, he is all you got left
