Junior has the skills to make it in the NFL on returns but he has to get an opportunity. It is hard when teams only have 1 primary return guy to break in on a depth chart.

I watch the kickoffs now and all I can think about is how good Junior would be at this. You really only gotta find one hole and you're through. His vision on kickoffs should translate well but like you said. He's gotta get an opportunity. I don't think coaches really care about kickoffs anymore sadly. They won't burn a roster spot for that. And that dropped punt in the pre-season really hurt his reputation.

NFL kickoffs just totally suck. Why do they bother....
I saw some stats the other day on NFL kickoffs.
In summary:
1. Significant increase in returns vs touch backs - more chances.
2. Despite this - TD returns remain elusive, virtually no change.
3. There was an increase in "explosive returns" defined as + 40 yards.
4. Claims 43٪ reduction in injuries.
I tend to agree with you - not sure KOs are even worth the time spent on them. Without them - teams could structure differently because they wouldn't need so many special teams dudes. Might improve the game in many ways.

One of the worst posts on egriz and that is saying something. Getting rid of kickoffs would be stupid because it removes chaos and emotion from the game, homogenizes field position and onside kicks would disappear. There are already too many rules favoring offense and limiting physicality and momentum. Fix kickoffs to limit injuries which they are already doing. SODUMBier delete your account.

If you were paying attention, which it is clear you are not, you would see I am calling out all the stupid posts on egriz. It happens to be with you that if you didn’t post dumb takes, you wouldn’t have any posts on egriz all all.
