MBBALL Idaho State game thread

GRIZ up 35 to 30 at halftime. I figured somebody would’ve posted a thread for this. Is there anybody watching?

GRIZ were pushing the ball up court at the beginning of the game and went up on Idaho State, real quick. They have since slowed down a little bit and they’re not pushing the ball as much.

An okay half (Griz lead 35-30), but their 3-point shooting sucks, and they need to tighten up on defense.

I haven’t seen much of Connor Dick. I would like to see him get into the rotation, like he was at the beginning of the season.

Connor played the most when the rest of the team played poorly. I think Travis put him because he was disappointed in the play of some players. Griz have been playing well during conference and Connor's play time heavily reduced

That was honestly a pretty boring game lol. The result was never in doubt and it just felt like there was never any flow or rhythm to this game. Big one on Thursday night against first place Portland State!

I was at the game. Shooting wasn't good.
Ball movement great. Defense was tough and effective. Officiating was questionable.

Side note: UNC lost again. Bad loss to NAU.

Didn't start watching until 2nd half. As others had noted, the result just didn't seem in doubt. Then the game just seemed to get weird down the stretch. Felt like the refs were just looking for a reason to make the game more interesting than it was.

I was also at the game and to Idaho State's credit, they didn't make it easy. But when refball takes over down the stretch, that's where stuff gets very strange. At the end of the day, a win is a win and now the focus goes on getting ready for 1st place Portland State on the road. That game should be a barn-burner.

Terri Miller Jr of PSU and Money are the two best players in the BSC. Miller has an excellent sidekick. Should be a pretty good game, PSU has been a tough place to win.
