Who is playing offensive tackle in 2026….

I know we still have a few days left to get players in to be here for spring ball…and it looks like the Griz coaches have worked to get players transferred in for areas of need (especially safety) - and we all know they might be contributors or not, this fall.

But the biggest area of need that I still see is offensive tackle. Our top 4 have all graduated or left due to the portal. The transfer from South Carolina could work, but not sold with height/weight. Losing the offensive tacklefrom San Diego to Fresno down the stretch - who was an all league player - really hurt.

With losing that 2nd or summer transfer option now - which has really helped the last few years to fill needs after spring ball evaluations - who do you see playing there on current roster besides the one transfer? It doesn’t matter if Gilman, Ah Yat, Davis, etc are weapons…if we are struggling at tackle to protect and block.

Thoughts? What am I missing?

Watch out for some of the young guys on the roster. They can really play

I have been wondering the same thing. I have done my best to guess the starting lineup but could be way off, tell me about your thoughts on the whole O line.

LT: C Vandiver (transfer)
LG: Bowen
C: D'Ambra (transfer)
RG: Drummond (Transfer)
RT: Freitas

Eli Gillman won the Big Sky offensive player of the year award where as the Cat running backs were second team and honorable mention all Big Sky at running back.
The pre-season MVP made honorable mention and wasn't even the best back on the team.

Lots of people like what I say and have sent messages saying so. I have a lot of info I just don't post it on the board. I have also played more football than you ever did back in the 20s or whenever you played.

You are a joke in a lot of groups I have found out, but hey keep thinking you're the bees knees. You should probably not comment on or about me anymore.

If you don't have a good to great OL none of your skill players matter.

OL and DL are the most important parts of a football team.

Then QB

HARBAUGH: "The offensive line to me is important. If I asked you the question, what position group depends on no other position group to be good, but every other position group depends on them to be good -- what position group is that? Offensive line. They're not relying on any other position group to be good, but yet every other position group relies on the offensive line to be good. And then the D-line, they'll be the ones that argue back, saying 'We don't need the offensive line to be good.' Don't you? Don't you like when the offense has a 12-play drive? And then they say, 'Ok, you're right.' Building that kind of offensive line is exciting. That group is like a fist. There are five of them playing as one."
