You ARE lil’ bro BECAUSE you do stupid shit like chant ESGGCG at weddings, funerals, HS graduations, church, etc., etc. Living rent free in y’all’s heads 24/7.

It was chanted today by a sitting U.S. senator at the cats’ ceremony at the stadium. Bet they drank that shit up like warm natty ice.

I have a social media friend cat fan. He posted right after our Super brawl loss the videos of the entire stadium doing the Eat sh&t chant. Later he posted a bizarre double picture of Brooks Davis and a gesture and below it Taco doing something wonderful. The claim was Bobcats have class and Griz are not. I questioned his statement's hypocrisy given "eat Sh&t" popularity. What followed was a eat sh&t double and triple down. He posted his very young kids or his sister's in FTG clothing and hats. Weeks after that, leading up to the championship everything was about the Griz. There was no mention of we've got a good team, coach and nothing about Indiana State.
He posted his reasoning by saying "I've had to listen to years of the Griz calling us Little Brother and our stadium the Litter Box.
Then on Christmas day he posted Santa Claus with a FTG hat singing "eat sh&t".
Then of course they are on the field after winning the Natty and what is the chant about, the Griz.
Soon after he messaged me, with "How about them Bobcats, pussy" I replied, "Great game, congrats". Don't get me wrong, I want the Cats to lose every game and never score a point, but the kids on that team deserve what they got. I watched Lamson and Taco's interviews, totally class acts. The fan base though not so much.
They don't understand that they are affirming the "Lil brother" moniker whether they beat us again and again. Totally classless. Rep. Sheehy in his speech just chanted it at their celebration.
I went to my first Cat/Griz in 1955. I remember leaving old Dornblaser Stadium on my older brothers shoulders singing "Poor Bobcats". That for years was the extent of the vocal celebration, that I know of. Not sure when FTC/FTG started. The internet certainly has played its role. I've heard it from the student section, but I've not heard any other Cat mentioning in chants in WaGriz. I personally can say when we've made runs or even won the Natty over the years, I've never once been thinking about the Cats.
I just hope we never stoop to their level. Given the vitriol, I could see it happening.

Correct. Sad to admit it works on me and just about all of my Griz friends. I do take pride in the fact that we don't stoop to such garbage, but the fact is, Cat fans are PROUD they are called "classless." It's a badge of honor for them. It's part of their collective fake cowboy persona.
