The Eagles made the playoffs and the loser of the Super Bowl actually misses the playoffs the next season more often than not, though before this season the Chiefs were an exception to that rule. The NFL is not comparable to college football. It is hard to be playing until February and go back to training camp the next July.

Yeah, I was just pointing out that it’s delusional to compare the NFL to college ball and expect one event to be a pattern that translates to us, particularly when they’re just so structurally different.

2018 L, 2019 L, 2020 no game, 2021 W, 2022 L, 2023 W, 2024 L, 2025 L and L. That is 2-6 in his last 8. He won his last one before that in 2009.

I take your overall point, but never has a team won a game because they played mistake free football. And therein lies the rub. MSU won both 2025 games while making plenty of mistakes.

My apologies to some I have surely omitted. When I see them in the future, and there are about a half dozen of them, I will try to edit here and add them. A couple of them are provably lawyers, just can't recall the names. A few others, like da Boyz, have dropped out of my list in the last year or so. Edit: Raider, argh. More will come to mind.
