Now i get it and i agree. We should never lose to the scats. Alls im saying is the number needs to be taken with a grain of salt.

I think the fact that 2.0 is 1 for 7 in winning the conference is even more telling because it reflects a larger body of work. What is even more alarming is that we’ve only won the conference once in the last 15 years.

How can we realistically expect to ever win a Natty if we are only at the top of our own conference once every decade and a half? 2.0’s tenure covers nearly half this stretch.

With the Big Sky (and FCS) at its historical weakest, it shouldn’t be unreasonable to expect to win the conference at least semi-regularly.

I personally can’t wait for after next season when Chambliss’ old coach Tony Annese takes over Bobby’s roster and does what he never could… build them into Champions.

Their records speak for themselves: Annese wins Natties. Bobby doesn’t.

Does Tony Annese have connections to recruit in Montana? One of the main complaints about Bobby Hauck has been losing the in state recruiting battle to MSU and Brent Vigen. Bringing on a coach without any ties to Montana won’t help in this department.

It’s hard to argue that the Big Sky is weaker now than it was during Bobby 1.0 with how much better MSU is. MSU football was running a coke ring during Bobby 1.0 and MSU football just won the chipper this past season.

I doubt he is here 4 more years if we miss the playoffs next season. The schedule is a lot more difficult than this season. There will be riots if Vigen knocks us out of the playoffs and the response from the ad and clueless fans is losing to MSU and missing the playoffs is RTD.

I wonder if Bobby will stay until he wins one or more national championships. Some of the neggies and Bobby haters may want to change their tunes and start cheering for that, if they want Bobby to retire sooner than later. Ha.

Hauck has gotten the Griz into the semis and beyond multiple times. That's better than anyone else would or could have done. He also RTD'd the Griz a few years after he returned. You are a Stitt lover.

Low? There is zero chance that he wouldn't be kept if he wants to stay. You obviously don't know any of Bobby's friends or the top boosters.

No I am pointing out that getting rid of Bobby besides him retiring is probably unrealistic unless the team misses the playoffs so we have to accept that he is going to continue to be the coach most likely.

Hauck already has the most losses of any coach all time in the Cat Griz rivalry with 8. MSU fired Ash after 7 losses in the rivalry.

I didn't bother to look it up, but Cliff Hysell must be up there in that company, too. Unfortunately for him, he never won one.

You’re right he is tied with Bobby Hauck as they have both had 8 losses in the rivalry. Cliff Hysell and Rob Ash are not the best MSU coaches to be in the same company with.
