Eli Gillman is Back

Let's take a stab at the starting Offense now with what we have up to this point:

QB: Keali'i Ah Yat
RB: Eli Gillman
WR: Brooks Davis
WR: Korbin Hendrix
WR: Shaun Boykins
TE: Titus Rohrer
LT: Carter Bowen
LG: Oscar Weigel
C: Austin Buehler
RG: Dyllan Drummond
RT: Lucas Freitas

I feel like you could shuffle the OL around a bit, but that's probably how I'd put it.

Best offense in the FCS

Who's going to be the 3rd down security blanket? Hoping Finch or Gurnsey can carve a role like that as the possession receiver.

Looks exactly 16-0 to me.

Our defense and special teams will also need to outperform MSU. There are 3 phases to the game and offense is only 1 of them. Rittenhouse outplayed Lamson and ISU still lost.
Rittenhouse had 6.7 yards per pass attempt. Lamson 10.4. Lamson beat us both times and it appears he will be back.

Best offense in the FCS
Let's wait until mid to late October before making that prediction. We still need to see if the offensive line can move defenders, open creases consistently, know their assignments, shift blocking scheme, and pass off defenders when they stunt/blitz

ok now....time to temper expectations. If last year taught me anything, it was to lower my expectations. High hopes, low expectations.
I only see two possible losses on the schedule: OSU, msu. I would have added Davis to the list, but with the RB and QB gone, they won't be as tough. This offense will be unstoppable against the shit big sky.

That's 10-2 in the regular season and Tim Plough will have UC Davis playing tough football without Pinnick and the RB.

I think theyre starting RB, Jordan Fischer is still there. Vargas was their all purpose change of pace guy. In 8 games last year he had 700+ yards and 7 td's on 80 touches. Plus they return their all con TE and WR plus they're next 3 best receivers. Don't forget, Pinnick never threw a pass before this year and they're pretty high on all 3 of their RSFr QB and their freshest recruit.
