Riley Wilson, no. 16, is playing for AZ in Holiday Bowl, right now, 2d Q, SMU 21-0

So you’re just CERTAIN that what you purport a landman did 50 years ago is the same as what a landman does today? Because your DAD did it?

My dad was a bricklayer. Doesn’t mean I know anything about building a fucking house.

You just get dumber and dumber and dumber.
He was a landman up until 2 years ago, and yes, it remains the same. Lots of time sitting in courthouses, going through land records.

The Landman is their own company and receives a percentage of all leases negotiated for as long as the lease remains in effect. In some cases, in perpetuity.
You dig yourself a bigger hole the more you post. This wasn’t a subject you should have tackled because you obviously no nothing about how it works.

— You are roughly 73 yrs old
— Your “Dad” was a landman for 45 years
— He did it until 2 years ago

1. We can infer your Dad is in his 90s
2. He started in his mid 40s
3. He continued into his 90s

Good landmen are retiring by their 50s, or are already out by then. Most oil field employees don’t need to work or desire to work.

The math ain’t mathing. But keep lying about something you know nothing about. Good entertainment on my way home.

No oilfield job is the same as it was 50 years ago. I was shocked at the changes from 1986 to when I got back in 20 years later.

Then it took up to 6 months to drill 4000’ vertical. I’ve worked wells recently where we did that in the Marcellus horizontally in less than 12 hours. Technology has come a long way

Hike is about 76/77. So the numbers are way off. His dad was a Landman until he was 100. Ha.

Just turned 70 and was writing leases 45 years ago? Dude…just stop.

Seriously. Seek help. A pathological liar is no way to go through life, son.
You clearly have no idea what a Landman does or the ability to do math. Jump in your vehicle and head to one of the communities near the Bakken, or Cut Bank, or Shelby or Havre or Conrad. You might learn something.

Some funny shit here. You clearly have no clue. Most deals consummated by Landmen near the patch or away are never drilled, but guess what, the Landman still gets their percentage regardless of production. The majority of Landmen in Montana are of advanced age because no one is filling the void of them stepping back. Would be a great career for people willing to travel and put the time in researching. I also have a brother who graduated from Tech with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. He worked for Baker Oil in Calgary and then in Africa.

Lol. Yeah, I’m horrible at math. That’s why I’m the CFO of a $15 Billion organization.

You are 76. Your brother is 85. Your Dad is dead.

Tech didn’t even offer a Petroleum Engineering program until 1971. First BS degrees were handed out in 1975. So your brother would’ve been 44 years old. lol btw I have access to the names of Tech graduates.

You are a pathological liar. It’s well known.
Next time stay away from shit you know nothing about.

I got a 6 hour drive ahead of me. I won’t be posting anymore.

Tengo mejores cosas que hacer. Disfrutaré de mi hermosa esposa y del hermoso campo. Te acaban de engañar. Nadie te cree. Ni siquiera Mary.

Brother actually graduated in 94. Made enough money working in Africa for seven years to retire. Don’t be jealous of other people cause they’re more successful than you. You should probably end talking about stuff you don't have a clue about.

I generally prefer hanging out with and talking to men because I really can't deal with conversations about fake nails, hair extensions, and expensive purses, but some of the things y'all argue about really makes me rethink my priorities.

PS I've been watching a lot of Call the Midwife lately, maybe we should start a discussion about the merits of at-home vaginal births versus hospital c-sections. I'm sure that would be a scintillating conversation. 🙄

You don't even know what a Landman does. Pretty funny.

It’s as close to a dick measuring contest so have at it mom. 🤣

a c-section in the hospital entails more risk than vaginal birth at home with a midwife. home birth does increase the chance of seizure some, but the overall risk of that is still very low. personally i would go for the midwife over the hospital, if it had been a healthy pregnancy for the mother. i would have leaned for a hospital vaginal birth over at home, but it turns out that midwives can give epidurals, plus sedatives and pain killers i.v.. why go through all that pain and anxiety when you could reduce it a little with drugs? plus you are already at home, so i'd probably choose that way.

I can't believe you answered that seriously. But props to you! For my youngest I had a midwife in the hospital which I thought was the best of both worlds. 😉
