I might one day pull for a Cat win when their fans stop with the ESGGCG chant they do at weddings and games not involving the Griz. Those 16 years of losing really broke a lot of people. The only thing close is Trump Derangement Syndrome.

However the sentiment is true. In 23 we were flooded with “the bunnies will curbstomp you” and “I’ll never root for the Griz. Barf.” In every other NC game we have been in that has been the case. I used to root for all Montana schools when not playing us. Your fanbase has completely changed my mind. Go Redbirds.

I like Pete Sterbick and know some guys who played for him at Colorado Mines. I also like Travis Niekamp and Matt Nicholson. I know some people who played for the Griz when they were here as well. Most Griz fans will have some connection to both teams.

Wrong answer. I have never been the reason someone’s wife said “I’m never going back to Wa-Griz”, but my wife has told me she’s never going back to the litter box because of cat fans. I have never mistreated any fan from any schools that have played in Wa-Griz.

I hate when I hear people say this. We need to all accept there are bad fans in each side od the rivalry. I've had bad experiences in Missoula. I know people have bad experiences in Bozeman. By and large over all 90% of people are polite.
