I suppose you start with the portal. I think Wortham turned out to be a far greater weapon than even our coaching staff anticipated him being. I honestly think it is luck that he worked out as well as he did.
Obviously not the context of my question, i know how a college sports work. He was a power 4 talent that we had in our hands that’s not something that next group up always has.

No I understand what you said. A year ago people said same thing about Junior. Then Wortham signed and none of us realized how good he would be. Did you know he was a P4 talent? Will there be another Wortham? Probably not. But there will be players that will be better than you or I know. Whether they are on roster or added through the portal . Legends play and are replaced.

I just think he was even more dynamic to our offense than even junior (all though i think we could’ve used junior more in those kindve ways) like he really opened our play book up to some stuff teams weren’t expecting, i just wonder if losing him will limit are play calling especially with how dynamic of an offense we had this past season

I think it depends on the way that they play the game. there’s game managers and game breakers, but with the way football is played it’s getting harder and harder to make it if you’re not game breaking
