Losing in his backyard

Why are you ignoring the fact that we can't beat them outside of Missoula? Maybe answer his points instead of throwing another fit, that'd be a first. And you're the last person to try and lecture anyone about positing stupid stuff šŸ˜‚.
Hey F you. The champ game is on a neutral field. UM has beaten those schools more than they have beaten us in the past couple years. You are as clueless about football as 5280, and that is saying something. None of what I say is stupid. Yours is. You are are too dumb about football to know. Almost the whole board knows you don’t understand the game of football. No god poster will ever support yiu in your football comments. And you are a cry baby.

Seems like you're throwing yet another temper tantrum, want a tissue? We haven't beaten them on a Neutral field, haven't beaten them at their place and are 1-1 vs NDSU, 1-2 vs SDSU and 1-4 vs MSU in recent years. Those are the facts.

I never throw a tantrum. Mr. Cool. We've beaten them. That's all that matters. Learn the game. You are unbelievably unknowedeable.

And we've only beaten them at home which highlights my point why not being able to beat the Cats is a problem. Take the Rivalry aspect out of the equation and I'll break it down barney style to help you understand:

-Both us and the Cats are a top Big Sky team meaning we will be in the hunt for top Playoff Seed every year.

-We have to play the Cats every year in Conference play, we can't beat them consistently (Bobby 2.0 with a 2-7 record)

-If we can't beat them consistently that means our Postseason positioning will be affected, case and point getting the #3 Seed instead of #2 this season.

-Getting a worse Seed means we will have to eventually play games away from Missoula, taking the overall state of FCS chances are that means we're going to end up at Brookings, Fargo or Bozeman.

-Bobby has only won 1 Road playoff game ever and since 2021 we are 0-3 vs MSU, 0-2 vs SDSU and 0-1 vs NDSU when playing at their house or at a neutral field.

By not being able to beat MSU it literally sets up to lose in eventually in the playoffs based on recent and overall data when it comes to the Bobby and our performance in the Playoffs. Cool we do well vs the MVFC when playing at home or beating up on the likes of Indiana State, doesn't change the fact if we're playing on the road in the postseason we're probably screwed.

The schedule is a lot more difficult next year.
How? We can sleep walk to 9 wins. Montana state and Oregon state SHOULD be tossups, I guess UC Davis is MAYBE tough, but Idaho shouldn’t scare us. Our starters could sit and we’d still win comfortably against Drake, southern Utah, northern Colorado, and Portland state. Are we really scared of NAU, Idaho state and eastern?

Anything leas than 9 wins is an unmitigated disaster….and that’s being generous.

Point of order... What returning starters? 1 QB and 1 RB. Pretty thin after that. Unless you count the portal....

The keys to winning this series are winning the rushing and in state recruiting battles.

Our away schedule is the issue, especially when we take history into account:

EWU: We're 1-5 when playing on the Red Turf, their Freshman QB almost beat us this year if not for him fumbling the snap

NAU: Our NC team got smacked last time we played there

Bozeman: We average losses of 30pts. there

Davis: #3 Big Sky team under Plough, he spanked us in Missoula in 2024

OSU: FBS team

Also I would not underestimate SUU, they've been a borderline Playoff team the last 2 seasons and we barely survived ISU in Pocatello this past season. Granted I like our chances as we're home in those matchups but we shouldn't be overlooking anyone.

You were never involved in competitive sports, were you?

Your entire post spews the loser mindset. This is what I read:

"Griz can't win, Griz can't win"

Post more when you grow a friggin pair.

Everyone loses players to the portal and graduation. Year to year the expectations don’t change. And thay QB and RB are the best in the FCS.

The bobcats lost a load of players last year, had to replace a 4 year starter QB. And they are playing in the natty. Why should we expect anything less?

Well this year we got something like 10 home games….who cares if now we have 6 or 7 away games. Thats football. Bobby has been quoted saying ā€œwe will play anyone anywhereā€ā€¦..didn’t we go the Seattle and beat Washington on their turf? Why on earth should we be lowering our expectations because we have to go to CHENEY and Davis?

I’m changing my stance, anything less than 10 wins is an unmitigated disaster. If Bobby is so great then away games and Tim Plough shouldn’t be an excuse for dropping conference games.

Losing to Bozeman for a 4th time in a row alone should mean he’s gone by itself.

Because, according to the likes of you, UM strives for mediocrity. 13-2 and in semis is mediocre. The 3d ranked team losing to the 2d ranked team is mediocre. The biggest season ticket sales, biggest attendance of top teams, and largest income from football are signs of mediocrity. One of the larger FCS NIL funds is mediocre. Lots of honors winners is mediocre. No trouble among players or coaches is mediocre. Our coach is too old and nice to be competitive. Our game day atmosphere is mediocre. Having a great young accomplished president is mediocre.
