So what. He was never on the field. Some players are injury-prone, and he appears to be one of them.
You know this sucks for sure, but I still think we're gonna be good at CB. If Gentry is able to make a full recovery from the ACL injury, then he'll be CB1. I thought he really flashed in the 2 games we saw from him this year. On top of that, we've got Jayden Nicholas coming in next year from power house program De La Salle and he had offers from Arizona, Wazzu, UNLV, Nevada, Hawaii, and others. He could be an instant day one guy for us next year. Plus I'm sure they're gonna dip in to the portal a little bit as well and if they can find another guy like Lawler, then we're in good shape.
Ya I would've liked to have had Loud back next year but I'm not as worried about CB as I am other places like in the trenches.

Our entire defensive backfield is a full gut remodel. I'm hoping like hell they prove me wrong, but I see our defense getting even worse next year. This sucks.

The switch up is insane but totally expected. Damn near everyone thought on EGriz he was the next Rod Woodson when he came back from injury and would single handedly beat the cats. Now that he dips, it’s “oh, well he didn’t do much this year anyways.” If he never left you would be slurping him up for next year.
