Agents for professional football players earn 3% of the contract and 10-20% on marketing/promotional deals. NIL agents earn between 15 to 20% of the NIL contract.

Unfortunately there is no regulation of agents with NIL contracts so I'm sure there's some predatory behavior happening.

In addition, in 2023, across all sports and levels, 31,000 athletes entered the portal and 55% of them did NOT find a new team. For FCS football, the percentage was estimated at 65%. FCS players have the lowest landing rate of any football subdivision.

Loud and Gentry are both terrific CBs.
I believe Brady can be very good as well.
Plus, I'm hearing terrific things about our incoming HS CBs that just signed.

I don't think so Hoops. I was able to watch most of Carroll's games this year, and I would grade Orlandi a notch above Wilkinson. Orlandi is slightly bigger, a better tackler, and has a real nose for the ball. Maybe he saw the writing on the wall with the Beaner brothers waiting in the wings and the coaches bringing in Orlandi. It will be interesting to see where he lands, but personally I would be surprised if it was New Mexico. I was a fan of Diezel, and wish him the best wherever he goes. Thanks for being a Griz!

If he’s leaving he’s being told an offer bigger than New Mexico. I don’t think that’s what’s happening here. It’s agents recruiting players and they already have several options that were tampered into the works. It’s a new world that’s always been there but it’s so much more in your face now.
