Talkin Schmidt - Post season edition

National championships are a rare goal. 51 years ago for your beloved Cats.

I don’t get the obsession with Cats. Seems weird to me.
Yeah who would want to crush their rival, win the conference and national championships? Seems weird.

Can you hear the sound of my eyes rolling over the internet?

Quit making excuses for your boy.

I am not making excuses. Just dealing with reality. National championships are very rare for the Montana schools.

What about losing two games this year to the Cats and 8 of the last 10? What about Bobby getting owned by the Cats? What about Bobby getting beaten by an average of 30 points in Bozeman since his return? If he were performing like this as the Cat's coach, he would have been fired.
What about it? That has nothing to do with how UM plays the Dakota and MV schools. Zero.

Right but, as you said earlier, evidently that's ok with the higher ups, as their self appointed spokesman Hoops says those wins over UND and USD are the ones that matter. Hell throw in Indiana state, they're a valley team. I feel comfortable saying montana is firmly ahead of UND and USD. They're just behind NDSU, the cats and SDSU.
UM has beaten SDSU and NDSU in playoffs in recent times Cats haven’t.

He has 1 more win against the 2 that matter. Everybody beats USD and UND. Griz beat NDSU on their lucky run to Frisco like the cats beat SDSU on our lucky run. Neither has figured those 2 out. The difference is we have made 2 more runs to the title and beaten the Griz 8 out of 10.
UM beats the Dakota schools in playoffs. Cats don’t

Hauck 2.0 was a worse hire than Stitt in terms of strength and conditioning and record against MSU and Dakotas. Hauck 2.0 did not lose to UNC though that has not been brought up to be used as a reference point yet. Vigen and Hauck are both undefeated against UNC.
UM’s strength coach is better than Nicholson.

They might be less rare if you and others stopped being sugarcoating bad fans.
Griz finished outside of top 25 when your hero Stitt was here. People like you drag the program down.
We have as many playoff wins against sdsu as you do. Lol. You got the one against ndsu. Congrats. Got you a runner up finish to...sdsu
And your non-playoff wins over the Dakota and MV schools in past 3 seasons? Those schools kick your ass.

We finished top 15 in 2015 and top 25 in 2016. Griz finished outside of the top 25 just as many times during Pflugrad and Hauck 2.0. Those were the 2 worst recent hires at UM in that order.

Yours? Oh yeah north Dakota and Indiana state. How forgettable.

You'll never be happy...your posts illuminate your misery.

Go for a walk.
I’ll be happy if we beat the Cats 8/10 instead of losing to them 8/10. I’ll also be happy when we get back to developing NFL caliber players. If it wasn’t for Dylan Cook and Patrick O’Connell getting called up off the practice squad, UM would have had 0 representation among NFL players across all 32 teams active 53s this season. That is embarrassing for a program that is supposedly one of the best in the FCS.
