Any other coach go 0-2 against the Cats and keep their job?

Did anyone notice that SDSU ran the same “post” from the same position on the field, and in his press conference Bobby says they ran the post even though we were in the post defense, and he said the same thing yesterday. This is why it’s coaching.
I was wondering when someone else was going to call this out. I didn't see the entire route Taco Dowler ran but I thought it looked more like a deep in rather than a post but it had a very similar result.

I’ve been saying this forever. And I think this is how it should be. Bobby should definitely be there for as long as HE chooses to be there. Anything else would really be unfair.
Yeah, I mean what school in their right mind would fire their winningest head coach of all time just because he can't get it done vs. their rival? That would be program suicide.

I'm starting to see the big picture. Hoops demonstrates to us more and more every day that he is a secret Cat plant. His takes continue to drag Montana down and prevent the Griz from becoming better. He works exceptionally hard to convince us the reality we are seeing is not reality. I'm not falling for it Hoops.

Programs who know a bunch of wins don’t mean a lot if you can’t beat your rival, lose instate recruiting battles and have no chance at winning it all.

In your opinion are the Cats better now or when we had our winningest coach of all time? :ROFLMAO:

I very clearly said "program suicide", and I'll appreciate you not trying to ruin my analogies anymore, thank you.

In all seriousness, no I don't think we should fire Bobby, but MSU is not in the position they are in right now if they had wavered on their decision to blow up everything and commit their entire institutional focus top-to-bottom on beating the University of Montana at literally everything. To us, it was cringe and desperate in 2016, but it sure isn't anymore.

I don't have the answers, but I'd be lying if I said peering into the crystal ball with our current institutional strategy didn't look a little bleak.

The Griz football team this year was one of the best Griz teams in our history. Yes, the coach was Bobby Hauck. The Bobcats, however, are a better football team and may win the national championship. This isn’t the time to fire our coach or AD because our rival had a great year. Like it or not, this is the time to congratulate our rival and support Bobby in his efforts to make our team stronger in 2026.

okay, so you would be thinking along the same lines as Haslam. It’s too bad we don’t have a guy like Costello, who questions everything.
Yeah like the drinking habits of his assistant football coaches and the social media history of a recruit rejected by Montana. He was all over those.

Hauck is a great coach period. If it weren't for the Cats, Griz would win the natty. Both games this year could have gone the other way and all this calling for the coaches head wouldn't exist. I don't like his demeanor during post game, but otherwise, the Grizzlies are in good hands.
If we couldn’t compete with the Cats in the trenches, how could you expect us to compete with Illinois State in the trenches, who has about 45 pounds average size advantage over the Cats and has 13 guys on the offensive and defensive lines who are at least 300 pounds?

They would kill us, and will beat the Cats. They have won more road playoff games this year than Bobby has in his career.

I'm pretty sure South Dakota was much bigger than the Griz as well but you smoked em.

They had some bad losses this year. Were blown out at home by SIU and also lost at home to YSU. MSU is much more consistent.

That to me just says their defense isn’t very consistent but Stitt’s S+C coach’s big guys up front present a big challenge.

Was this a form of ritual professional self sacrifice? Knowing he was beat and choosing death over dishonor?
