We all know the portal is going to giveth and taketh away - however, let's look at where they might be if they can keep the current roster together.

I'd keep an eye especially on Eck at New Mexico (he was very complimentary of the Big sky in a recent interview). Lobos went 9-3 with him bringing a bunch of good Big Sky players last year, wouldn't be shocked if Gillman and others are targeted.

Only 3 months left til Spring Ball starts, so these coaches better start planning now and fixing our deficiencies on both sides of the ball. Looking at this depth chart gives me hope. It's not as bad as I thought it might be. We need to fill some holes but we should be ok. Ah Yat is our starting QB. If that's not obvious to everyone then you need to get your brain examined. I'm just worried that Bobby is going to bring in a transfer and tell Ah Yat he still has to compete for his job. As far as our o line is concerned, they did the best they could with what they had and they did get better throughout the year, but we need to be way better if we truly want to get to a NC. I was one of the very ones who supported our o line all year and tried to always be positive. But give Ah Yat and Gilman an O line like NDSU or the Cats and we are dominating teams . Time flies so they better start getting to work.

They already are, OSG: my wish list is to replace our O line, most if whom were seniors, with an even bigger, stronger
 
O line and to see 4-5 new ( developed from our existing high-school kids and recruited from the portal ) 280-300 lb. DT's as we transition from the 3-3-5 to the 4-2-5 as our new base defense.

2 years in a JuCo - some speculation he could get another. Iā€™m not sure his desire to do so though. Would love having him back

I donā€™t think thats really an ā€œughā€ situation. Good for him to go find an opportunity elsewhere. If you canā€™t get reps over Prince Ford, you probably donā€™t have it regardless at this level. I donā€™t know, maybe he was hurt.

He was hurt most of the season but I agree nonetheless
 
I think Otlewiski is going to move on. Iā€™d love for him to stay but I know he wants to play for an FBS team again.

Wortham said heā€™s ready to start training for the draft. I donā€™t think he intends to try for another year.

I agree, not too bad. Gives me a little hope for next year as well, IF,,,IF,,, we can bring in some stud road graders on offense and a couple stud run stoppers on defense. That's all, ha. We have to or it's going to be the same ol, same ol, again next year. I've had enough of that. Go Griz!
