While today’s was game was a disappointment? what will the Griz be like in the fall of 2026?

Thank you to all the seniors who have worked hard and made it a successful season, yes I understand that they fell short of the goal of winning the FCS Championship.

Questions that I have been pondering, but have not yet wanted to ask are as follows:

Will Gilman be back? I’m not very confident about this question as I know that there are many teams that will be interested in giving him $ that is not available in Montana or any other team in the FCS.

If Gilman leaves, does Ah Yat also go where there is more $.

Davis, Loud, Wing are also going or have been contacted by other teams.

I don’t know any of the answers, but I would bet others know a lot more than me.

Just curious if anyone knows

I'd keep an eye on Jason Eck at New Mexico, he went and got some top Big Sky players last year and was very complimentary of the Big Sky in a recent interview. I wouldn't be shocked if he leads the charge to grab some of the best around the Conference, especially since the method partially contributed to a 9-3 season and the Lobos have a great shot to win the MWC next year.

Both should use their position to force changes in the program or leave. Their talent is being wasted here.

I think otherwise. Get ready for a 7-5 season next year. OSU is going to destroy this defense without passing a single time. Davis, and Eastern will shred this D. Again. Winning at NAU, just doesn’t happen any more. Finally, the cats will blow out the Griz again in Bozeman. Next years group, if no changes are made, will be home for Thanksgiving watching schools that actually have priorities right play. The university has WASTED 15 years of support through mismanagement and hubris.

We lose our ass in the portal this year.

We will have our answers by mid January. Surely will lose players but I don’t expect a mass exodus

Better wait on the lose to Davis, a lot of portal activity leaving.
 
I wouldnt be surprised if KAY and Gillman stay.

There are two Gillman's on the team. One leaves and one stay doesn't seem likely to me. And their mom loves the griz too much. Whole family is super loyal to you guys.

KAY'S dad won you a natty. Do you really think he would leave? I know the legacy kid at Nebraska transfered but they fired his uncle.

He didn't win us a natty, and any player would leave for the right amount of money.

Saturday's game was expected. I had a feeling BH & Co. were not going to alter their game plan.

Nest year is going to look exactly the same because Bobby Hauck isn't going to change his coaching style. He isn't going to get rid of coach's, namely his brother, who was a great player but is a trash DC. I'll die on that hill. IDC about all of the interceptions. I don't place blame on the players. they did their best. That 3-3-5 is a crap defense. it always has been and always will be. UM needs to start recruiting athletic monsters on the DL and switch to the 4-3 and implement a nickel package for the passing teams.

Honestly, if Gillman left for a better opportunity I wouldn't blame him. I wouldn't be surprised if he stayed though.

I think we are going to lose a lot of players into the portal this week, I also believe we are going to see a whole lot of de-commits. UM was exposed on a VERY large scale Saturday. I might be saying something different if it hadn't been a completely humiliating loss, but 48-23? Yeah I'd be rethinking my commitment.

Then again, maybe nothing happens. Maybe they drink the kool-aid, stick around and try again. Maybe BH realizes FINALLY the 3-3-5 is a trash defense and moves away from it.

I agree with you on the 3-3-5. It’s total garbage and that’s why very few run it plus sooo many kids don’t like playing in it. Our D tackles can’t be 250 and expect to beat 300lb o linemen.

I don't understand where this came from?

I thought it looked like Ramos & Bailey got most of the snaps at NT, and they're both 280+. I know Mason plays some and he's on the smaller side, but your DT's don't average 250.

You won't have any decommits. Thats the disappointed fan talking. And do you want any recruit that decommits all because you lost a semifinal game?
