Thank you to the 2025 Montana Grizzlies! You deserve our praise and congratulations!

The 2025 Montana Grizzlies didn’t just win games, they played with the old‑school Griz DNA: violent defense, fearless special teams, and an offense that found its rhythm when the lights were brightest. They carried the weight of Missoula, the Hi‑Line, the Flathead, and every maroon‑clad fan from Libby to Glendive. And they made it look like joy.

They took a one‑loss regular season into the playoffs, then turned Washington‑Grizzly Stadium into a December furnace. They played fast, physical, and unbothered by pressure, the kind of football that makes the rest of the FCS feel the ground shake a little.

They gave Montana Grizzly fans something rare: A team that wasn’t just good, but easy to believe in. A team that made Saturdays feel like events again. A team that reminded everyone what it looks like when the Griz play with purpose.

A season like this deserves to be remembered as more than wins and losses. It was a season of identity. A season of pride. A season that made the Grizzlies feel big again. Thank you boys for a season full of memories!! You deserve our congratulations!!

We will all have to deal with insufferable Cat fans for at least the next 11 months, at a much worse level than ever before. Probably much longer because Hauck can't win in Bozeman. I'm not calling for his firing but there needs to be some serious introspection happening this off-season. Ever since the Krakauer bullshit our school and fans have been stuck rebuilding. That's never going to be complete unless we finally start winning the big games on a regular basis, and gaining on MSU in the bigger picture, both athletically and academically.

Sorry that I don't share the optimism and goodwill for this season. I have no maroon tinted glasses. Yesterday invalidated an otherwise dominant season.

IMO, the boys, who gave it their all every play of every game, deserve our praise and congratulations AND at the same time we can critique the head coach, coaches, and program as a whole and our inability to win in Bozeman and beat the cats. The maroon tinted glasses have been removed and will be forever removed until we see results. At the same time, don't cut off your nose to spite your face. In my opinion, we are two coaches/staff and two to three players away from a trip to the National Championship and we have some great players in development and coming in next year.

I don't blame our players at all. I think they were a championship caliber team and I am proud of them. I just think we have some cultural stuff that needs to be updated in this second Bobby tenure. There is something about the rivalry that the Cats have just managed to focus better as a team (ignore their fans). I think Bobby has the capacity to do it. I just wish he'd take that fire to the team instead of airing out in public for the Cats to use as fuel. I like swagger and I like having fun with the rivalry. Just find a way to focus it into playing and coaching the best games.
