I was going to say it's hard to beat yourself, but the bubs would have done so yesterday if they weren't playing a true (not a sac-type) JV program who couldn't catch a handoff.
I believe I've heard it from Riley and/or Kent.
In either event, who cares? We'll just put the national championship trophy in its home until we haul it back from bozoville next year.

lol sfa put up a better fight than South Dakota did against the griz. Yes the bobcats had absolutely way too many penalties yesterday day but still put up 44 points even with 100 yards of penalties

We've been a playoff fixture for 3 decades now. Bozeman is new to this which is how the odds finally came up.
I believe the two schools have agreed that the trophy would not change hands in the event of this matchup being a Griz victory.

It's crazy to think that out of 124 games played against one another, not once have we met in the playoffs. It came close in 2023 when NDSU beat the Bobcats at home. If Montana St. won we would've met each other.
