no. one can't help but think of their careers, and the latter have just started theirs. ask that question in four years.

They both have:
A future star running back named Renolds at the bottom of the depth chart
A perfectly named player for a running back in Running Rabbit & Utterback

06 - had a future small town pod cast star and Flatulence enthusiast in Schmidt

Right now, definitely 2006. But that's just because we now know how great some of the younger backs would become. Still, though. Holy shit both those rooms are busting with talent

Lex watched 2006.

So why not compare 2007, instead, when nearly everyone on the list was a year older, healthy, and playing?
Thats fine, 2007 works. The main point was to compare some of those older runningback rooms to the one we have today. We'll see if we have any NFL backs on this year, but only time will tell.

I know it’s hard not to compare these teams to what feels like the standard of the 2000’s, but at this point and in this landscape it’s all pretty moot. Each team has their own identity and strengths/weaknesses and hindsight will be the only judge of them in the long run based on what they achieve. Until then, this 2025 team has been a lot of fun to watch and given us some great moments as fans. I’m looking forward to one last guaranteed game in WaGriz tomorrow and let the chips fall where they may from there.
