Again, there is no comparison between the two things. No one in the history of college football has done what Davis did, and certainly not on national TV. Thousands of coaches have said FU to players thousands of times. Stop playing your little game. You can’t possibly be that stupid. Nobody can.

And Fife didn’t push away Hauck and keep walking away and around the field for a minute or more. And Fife didn’t push a teammate a time or two. The teammate’s actions show how wrong Davis was. Hauck would tolerate that. Davis disrespected his coach and the program.

I didn't see Hauck say F you to Fife, but I did see the heated argument between the two, so yes, Skookum, I have to admit it probably happened. ... I also saw Logan Fife and Coach Hauck hugging it out on the sidelines a little after that, and Logan and Coach Hauck appearing at the presser after the game sitting side by side explaining what happened during their heated conversation and publicly exchanging mutual pleasantries and respect. ..Neither one of those events happened between Julius Davis and Coach Vigen, did they ?
Have the bobcats played a game since then? the only meaningful info. I get about them is through daily reports on eGriz...thanks.

Not the same. Lots of here focus on any win they can claim against MSU no matter how small. I’d call some obsessed with trying to show superiority. Thats alot different than simply “knowing your enemy”
My take is that the kid fucked up. But I also believe that when people fuck up punishment should be proportional. I think it was a misunderstanding between him and the coach. And he didn't handle it well. But the millions of views and negative comments on every social media platform calling him a thug etc and passing judgement on his character has gone too far in my opinion. Imagine if that was your son. So yea I think it has been overblown and people should give it a rest.

It is never acceptable for Davis to do what he did. A misunderstanding, even if true, doesn’t excuse anything he did. I would sit him for a half. My view and respect for Vigen has dropped again. I heard Griz players have said there would have been a fight on the 50 if Bobby had been the coach, and Bobby said perhaps, but not if the player was Solo. Ha.
