Classless Cats getting National Attention

I thought the Fife and Bobby incident was overblown. This incident was much longer and looked worse but I think it is overblown also. People have no idea what Davis or Vigen were even saying. It sure as hell shouldn't end the kids career. I saw someone say it was on People Magazine site. I didn't know People Magazine still existed. There will be hundreds of new viral videos that will suck people in the next week and this will be old news. Our society has the attention span of gnats

Neither would I. The classless one is Davis. At a minimum, Vigen should sit his ass on the bench for a whole game for that performance. One does not act that way with a coach, any coach. Vigen needs to make an example of Davis to reassert his position as Head Coach.
I wouldn't say Vigen is necessarily classless.

What is abundantly clear is that he does not handle crisis situations well, and that he has a WAAC approach to running his program.

There is nothing to be gained from Griz fans wanting to magnify the situation. I get discussing it, but I'm seeing a lot of unnecessary "this situation means their culture is in shambles and Vigen has lost the locker room" type comments. We know nothing about the ins and outs of their culture. I get some of you may still be coping, but give it a rest. It does nothing but look bad for our fans. Onto USD.

This is my view too. I am told, by other BS coaches, that Vigen is a nice guy. This was a tough situation for him. But he showed that he is pretty soft or inept with things like this. I can't imagine that Hauck wouldn't have taken bigger action, or at least some action. Vigen's action is probably consistent with how he has handled quasi-similar things in the past.

This is a good take. Two sides to every story and the only one we know is what was on the TV screen.

But, alas, some of you just like to beat your chest.

It’s meaningful to them probably. Lots of people in this thread just want to thump their chest about how this would never happen at UM and MSU is a second rate team for allowing this to happen. As I said previously. Some of you let MSU live rent free in your head, which is total cat behavior, and you’ll take any chance you can get to try and use something like this to exert a perceived superiority over them. It’s a napoleon complex of sorts.

Some of us can walk and chew gum @ the same time, but apparently not you. We can address the growing dumpster fire 🔥 in the MSUDUI football program while carrying on with our jobs, duties, household chores, friends and family but not everyone is so well coordinated. : ( !!! If we have to play them again, I believe that UM, unlike MSU as demonstrared on Nov. 22 in Missoula following The Brawl, will in the words of Ohio State Head Coach Ryan Day after his Buckeyes beat Michigan this year in Ann Arbor, snapping the other UM's 6 game rivalry- winning streak, " Win with humility ! "

At least 6 billion then:LOL:
Ok, now we are getting somewhere. There are only about 350 Million people in the US. So lets assume all of them saw it. Where would the other 5.6 Billion come from?

- My guess is at least 1 Billion is probably from China (TikTok)
- Give another 744 Million from Europe, who were looking for "Football clips" but ended up watching the American version of "Football" (Don't worry, Trump said he is changing the name of our Football)

But that still leaves us about 4.1 Billion short. Is there another area that loves Northwest Vs Ivy League Football that much?

No one is holding a gun to your head, forcing you to read this thread, are they ? I respect your First Amendment right to express your thoughts: please respect mine and the others on this thread that don't agree with you 👍 !!! And since we have this First Amendment right to free speech, that includes the right to be wrong, and I am fully defending your right to be so wrong : ) !!! Our fans and team, while not perfect, don't look bad following last Saturday: MSU and their fans still in denial that theur team has some serious internal problems do after this debacle : (

Tune in Friday night, Rico. I predict now that at least the ABC crew will demonstrate this incident is not old news to them.

Does MSU get the ad revenue for NIL?
That would be great, but I doubt it. That ad revenue is going to the advertisers themselves. Now, are those Advertisers then turning around and spending that money on MSU NIL? Some probably are... Would be interesting to see the ROI for the advertisers.

My buddy said this state school debacle made the Dan Patrick Show and they agreed it was a really ugly look for the school. Once again embarrassing the state of Montana, you just can't let players hit coaches and not respond
