Classless Cats getting National Attention

I find it really odd that Cat fans are saying everyone is overblowing the whole scenario, that Vigen misunderstood the situation, and that Davis apologized. It doesn't matter if Vigen misunderstood the situation, the fact that Davis got aggressive with Vigen in the first place is the problem. As a player, that is not excusable.

It's the same reason why I was not on Fife's side last year when he got into it with Bobby on the sideline. You're a player, not a coach's equal. If a coach is getting on you, you don't talk back and expect there to be no consequences.

You are exactly right. And do what Davis did for so long. It wasn't a brief incident. And the cameras were still running and announcers calling the play by play.

Just listened to the 5 minute Vigensplaning version of the story and was taken back to 2009 when Tiger Woods crashed his Escalade. In his attempt at damage control, Woods stated how brave his now ex-wife was when she used his driver to smash out a window and come to his rescue….. We all know how that fairytale marriage ended.

Glad to see we are now on page 10 of hyper analyzing (checks notes) a meaningless non-football post-game incident at MSU. The team over east has some of your brains in a blender.
My view is that the MSU incident was quite meaningful and says alot about the player, the coach and the program. It was a truly horrible look for MSU, and seen by zillions of people all over the country. And Vigen's response to it has been bad/weak. He was probably in a tough spot. Hauck would have taken some action. You ought to talk to some college coaches or former coaches to see what they have to say.

Some people's over here day wouldn't be complete if they didn't start daily threads on "Lil bro"..lol.

I think you guys are overreacting. You'd think the head coach flipped of the crowd or yelled eff you to the starting QB. I know this isn't hockey but it is an emotional game

This isn't over analyzing--there are problems in the football program @ MSUDUI as evidenced by their after-the-game performance while still on the field post brawl on Nov. 22, and their on field and after-the-game performance vs. Yale last Saturday. One of the reasons that Coach V was frantically tugging at Davis was he got a big-time butt chewing from Costello on the order of MSU's new prez after the Sh__y 😺 Kitty's Beavis and Butthead routine at WA-GRIZ following the brawl. And we are only seeing the tip of the ice berg !!!

There are only 8.2 Billion people in the world. So there is no way Zillions saw it.

I agree that the interaction is a very bad look I don’t think I would call Vigen classless.

Watching the video several times to me it looks like Davis and #3 were having a cordial exchange it looks like Davis and #4 did not and that is when Vigen became involved.

I have had the opportunity to visit with Vigen a couple times and I was impressed.

He is not on Bobby’s level, but seems like a good guy.

As Griz fans we know that Bobby can be curt with the media, in one on one situations he is a great guy.
Neither would I. The classless one is Davis. At a minimum, Vigen should sit his ass on the bench for a whole game for that performance. One does not act that way with a coach, any coach. Vigen needs to make an example of Davis to reassert his position as Head Coach.

It’s meaningful to them probably. Lots of people in this thread just want to thump their chest about how this would never happen at UM and MSU is a second rate team for allowing this to happen. As I said previously. Some of you let MSU live rent free in your head, which is total cat behavior, and you’ll take any chance you can get to try and use something like this to exert a perceived superiority over them. It’s a napoleon complex of sorts.
