Classless Cats getting National Attention

cats beat writer reported there will be no repercussions for Davis for assaulting the head coach in front of the whole world. Called it!

Not so fast my friend as Coach Corso would say--Coach V is sitting Davis' disrespectful 😤 a$$ down ... for the first play against Stephen F. Austin !!! His place will be taken by Preseason Big Sky MVP, Preseason All-American, Preseason Payton Award Winner, Preseason Heisman Winner, and post-season All Big Sky Honorable Mention Adam Jones ...he's a Bobcat ... from Missoula !!! ( Almost no one knows that because MSDUI and their crack radio and Scripps TV crew including Gregorak just won't mention that--it's like trying to pull teeth out of a chicken to get them to even mention the highly overrated Jones is from Missoula ... Sentinel : ( !!! )

Ok, for what it's worth, here is my take.

Let's analyze this without emotion. First, the video shows what it shows, and it is a terrible look for all concerned. The first thing Davis does in his "apology" is blame ESPN. Sure the ESPN folks who commented on what unfolded were not on the Bobcat sidelines or in the locker room to learn what happened with this young man, that led the Vege to believe he needed to intervene and pull his player back. Next, it's clear Davis is not angry with his opponent but his anger is directed at his coach. This rejection of his coaches' authority is escalated when he also rejects a fellow player's attempts to intervene and deescalate the situation. In his apology, and the sycophants' posts on BCN, Davis blames the "heat of the moment." The game is over, and his team won. If you wanted to cite "exuberance," I might be with you. But here, any heat of the moment was only created by him, when he became insubordinate to his head coach. We can all speculate about why he would turn on his head coach, and using Occam's razor, what is most likely is what his coach has previously let the team know about his coaching plans for next season (perhaps, not with the Bobcats?) If so, many players take such an event as a betrayal, and that I could certainly understand, and would give clarity as to a reflexive emotional response. Because Davis does not appear to have such explosive episodes previously, at least none that I am aware of, I agree this is something to be handled player to coach, and if any discipline to be meted out, that is solely the coaches' prerogative. But excusing this behavior on the heat of the moment in competition, not buying it. And if insubordination on semi-national TV doesn't rise to a disciplinary event in Bobcat land, so be it.

Who has their tickets booked to Nashville?

Yale ran at will against msu. That nonsense about tough yards that vigen was crying about is pure bunk.
The crying over the wind making it too hard to pass is just another vigen excuse. That ginger probably can't poop without having an ugly cry.

The 4 turnovers hurt Yale. But this idea that the cats played crappy for no apparent reason is B.S.
Yale was the reason msu looked so bad.

Loved that line from coach Reno about his players attending real classes at a real university. Kind of sounded like he didn't think the Bobcats were hitting the books.

So what did @Colter_Nuanez56 ask at the press conference?

He assured us he would ask about this very viral moment today. What were his questions?
I think he just asked about Davis being emotional and Sixx replied yes, and that he needs to channel it. In 409 more words.

Other than that, Sixx tried to get out in front of it at the top, as was posted already. About four minutes on how he is Davis’s protector. Follow up by another dude was just, “Anything more on Davis?” and a leading, “No playing time issues, then?” (Paraphrasing).

Aside: I think this is the most I’ve ever watched of a Sixx press conference. It was a tough slog. Does the press like him because he rambles? Thing could’ve lasted 5 minutes without losing any substance whatsoever.

He rambles in monotone which is even worse. I don't know how anyone can actually listen to him.

To be perfectly honest, it could have been an email.

And even then it would have carried more emotion.

Ummm…I’m wondering…ummm….If umm….coach has ummm….problems speaking in ummm…stressful situations? Maybe umm….this is why he ummm…has a difficult job with ummm….employment interviews.

He is obviously a good football coach and possesses a lot of experience. I’m wondering if his ability to communicate holds him back. Kind of the opposite of Choate (.56) and his snake oil salesman approach.
