Classless Cats getting National Attention

Since this was a playoff game the NCAA should step in and suspend Davis for the season. Violence is never the answer, Very bad look for little brother and they leave yet another stain on the state of Montana

Embarrassing

From an arm chair observer, I believe the only way Vigen can survive this is to suspend Davis for the rest of the season but allow him to walk on next yr. and prove he belongs. If that does not occur, coach will be viewed as a non-disciplinarian and one that has lost the respect of the team.

Vigen will lose even more respect if he doesn’t take some action. I think he will do something even if not major action. A coach can’t let a player get away with what Davis did. Why would Davis get so mad and out of control? I wonder if NFL teams will even let him in camp. Who needs potential trouble and an attitude problem from such a marginal player?

So Davis has another year?

Do you suppose Vigen will have any explaining to do with our local reporters? Any of them going to ask the simple question, “what happened after the game with Davis? Will Davis receive discipline for his actions?”

Reporters need to ask him “What did you say to aggravate the situation so badly?”

Davis was chill until an angry looking Vegan grabbed him by the shoulder.

Davis is not an NFL back.

There was another video of Vegan walking in the middle of the circle of players and seemed to be animated. I wonder if Vegan was trying to gather players to the circle for a talk after what had to be considered a lackluster performance and Davis was delaying the process.
Video was posted by I believe the radio broadcaster on his X page.
If that was the case Vegan should have waited to get to locker room to talk to players.
It was an odd scene that looked like a highschool coach yelling at players after a game.
Davis did not react well, however Vegan has a big role in what transpired.

Vigen just tried to gently pull him back and get him to move on (and perhaps to wherever Vigen was going to talk to the players). Vigen did nothing that zillions of coaches don't do every year with players.

Davis is on the roster as a senior. 3 years at MSU and played at Wisconsin: "Wisconsin (2022) Three games… 13 carries for 90 yards… one catch for 3 yards … 6 rushes for 37 yards vs. Illinois State, five for 45 yards against New Mexico State. (2021) Played in each of the season’s final five games, rushing for 109 yards on 21 carries in that span... nine carries for 47 yards against Northwestern. (2020) Carried once against Minnesota for one yard in his only game action that season. (2019) Redshirted."

Yeah he certainly wasn't holding on to his face mask and screaming in his face like what's his face from Idaho used to do to his own kid!

cats beat writer reported there will be no repercussions for Davis for assaulting the head coach in front of the whole world. Called it!
IDK why I'm shocked at this coming from the worst look university I can remember from a PR standpoint. Even the non-AI generated portion of the BobRB's apology is ridiculous. You don't have to read past the first two words of it to know the true mindset, then AI takes over. Never their fault.

Its such a bad look for the state school, time after time they just look away from common sense.

My friends came over Sunday to watch football and one of my buddies said, " the way they deal with accountability at the state school you would think women are running the asylum", my wife laughed.

If you don't want rules, structure and consistency the state school is the gold standard
