Deck Catch #4 Top Ten ESPN

I loved in the presser when Bobby was asked about the studs and their stats this year, which are obviously elite. Not mentioned in the stat line question was drew deck sitting to coach's immediate right in the presser. Bobby's answer was perfect, and Drew deck has had himself an incredible season and a HUGE impact, while not getting the accolades as the others (which are deserving of for sure).

I loved in the post game interview on the field when Bobby said NOBODY in that locker room cares about stats. They just care about having one more point than the other team at the end of the game. THAT is the kind of chemistry and unity a team needs to get to and win a natty.

Unlike a number of players from the team across the hill, UM's players seem to care more about the name on the front of the jersey than that on the back.

I caught a ride with Deck’s parents when our flight to Missoula landed in Helena on Friday. Great people. Truly awesome, nice and fun. For repayment for the ride, I said I would get Bobby to put in a special play that would make Sports Center. For those of you with no sense of humor, the last sentence was a joke.

I sat next to Drew’s grandfather at a game earlier this year. He is SO proud of his grandson, and rightfully so.
