Questions for tonight’s GFP

First things first, how nice was it having the UAC officials, just a solid competent crew. What a breath of fresh air that was.

Second, if Pease is going to call a game like that, I don’t know who can beat us.

Third, I was going to call out Luke for the fact that he has real hot takes on everyone’s top 5 athletes but has yet to provide his top 5 for review. However he helped me out of a tough spot at the press box with a known cat fan, member of the pod and others that I’m really excited to hear him elaborate on.
 
Over / under on Wortham touches was set at 15 by some arbitrary fan. ;)

He had 15. Is that the target for the the rest of the playoffs?
 
Is KAY the best FCS QB in the nation?

What kind of NIL money could he get at a decent FBS school? Let's say somewhere like Nebraska or Iowa / Iowa State.

What will the Griz do to keep him? Or, is his loyalty rock solid as a legacy?
 
What's the max amount the GRIZ should spend on any 1 player any given year? I'm thinking $250k.

Given a choice of only paying 1 GRIZ whatever the max is, who on the current roster gets it? Eli, AhYat, Loud, other?
Eli's the most proven and conference mvp. Fortunately, the GRIZ are loaded at HB.

AhYat is an all American type qb now. I don't see another qb stepping in and performing at his level.

Loud's talent at cb is rare and arguably the most key player to the GRIZ defense.
Like AhYat, I don't see another CB performing at his level.
 
I am sure you guys have discussed this at length. But, Loud's impact on the overall effectiveness of the defense can not be over stated. Put him on and island and roll the 3 safeties away from him and that is how we get the 2 safeties coming up for run support the way the 3-3-5 is designed to work. Completely changes the #'s game for the run game and will be a game changer when we go to Bozo for the semi! On a side note that Brian Ah Yat's kid might be pretty ok!

On the NDSU side of the bracket, everyone is a dark horse. Except Cigarette State (aka Tarleton)
 
James, how many GFPers could you beat playing them in a game of HORSE?

Have you ever seen a team rack up 552 yards while going just 4-10 on 3rd downs?

Okay, you've talked about it before on the pod, but we saw it 3 more times yesterday: whenever Monte is in the game with Michael in shotgun, it's always -- ALWAYS -- a jet sweep to him. We will run something else off that action at some point. Right??
