Offensive Player Implementation

Earlier this season, I posted I'd like to see a "Speed" personnel group. To my surprise, during the SDSU game, the GRIZ introduced it.

I'm not sure how many plays they used the personnel group. However, we did see Hendrix, Davis, Wortham, Monte Gillman, Eli, Rocker in varying combinations. I was ecstatic to see any combination of those guys on the field.
I'm looking forward to what play variations we see moving forward.

The next personnel package I want to see is a spread 3 to 4 TE grouping. The GRIZ have damn big TEs. Imagine using no less than 3 TEs spread out for perimeter blocking or route isolation on small CBs. Add in Finch, if needed. Imagine CBs and safeties having to deal with that group at any time.

Rocker is a nightmare for opposing defenses with his route running and pass catching ability. He comes into the game and now the defense has to make personnel choices. Linebacker? Nickel? He is a good enough runner that you have to honor that as well. Must be really fun to be Brent Pease right now. So many weapons and personnel groups to tinker with.
