Should be Friday Night Lights

I think all 1-AA Playoff games should start at 20:00 on Fridays. Most people in the Big markets aren't watching the 1-AA today, they are concentrating on 1-A... Furthermore, even more viewers would be lost to the UFC if the Griz were the late game like UC Davis tonight.

Just more eyes on Friday Night, especially at WAG.

I hope it’s Friday night cause I want USD to have to travel on a short week, and then I want the extra day to prep for the cats. That said, I think we’re gonna get the Saturday afternoon game on ABC cause this is the best matchup of the quarters.

Not so sure the Cats have much more of a benefit to playing Friday night vs Montana playing Saturday at 1:30 PM from the standpoint of the game time difference only separated by 18.5 hours. In addition, they'll be wrapping up their game about 11:00 PM. In the grand scheme of things, that's not really any benefit at all.

We want the ABC game... It draws much larger tv ratings than anything on ESPN or ESPN2 will.

That literally means squat. If we're going to be on either ESPN or ABC, you want ABC every single time. We're going to draw a larger TV audience than the Cats will on their lone Friday night game.

If the Army / Navy game wasn't on, you would have a point, but barely anybody will be watching the Griz on ABC unless they know right now that the game is on.
