I don't tolerate it, man. I never lead with being "mean". What do you consider specific attacks on student athletes SOLELY for their fan perceived ability on the football field.? Is this OK? Or "nice" behavior?

This is just his tough guy online persona Elrond. From what I hear he is super respectful to people in person because he knows if he mouthed off irl like he does on here he would get his ass kicked. You see everything he is on here clearly. Give him enough rope he will hang himself with it and make your point for you. You point out all he has is ad hominem attacks and then he posts 15 different times with ad hominem attacks. Just ignore, block, mute whatever him. He absolutely lives for this online nonsense but he is a cancer that doesn’t deserve the oxygen he desperately craves. Just move on. Hope that helps.

Nope, and I have said that many times. Feel free to ask Jack so you don't have to search my post history. I have always said it is counter productive and unhealthy for the program that we have such a large portion of our fanbase who seemingly like to trash the coaches and criticize individual players. That was quite literally the entire reason I made my account a few years ago, to be a voice pushing back on them.

At the same time, I think the way to respond to that is about the points they make, rather than attacking them as people and attacking their personal lives. Just my opinion, and I think you would get more support for your position without the personal attacks.

If I am completely honest, I think that style of argument is ALSO a bad look for the program when supporters do that.
 
Lets face it Taber is just an asshole troll. Nothing wrong with that, its who he is and like any assholes when they do not get their way and can't bully you, they act up like a jaded toddler. Its just expected

I just didn't feel great when someone is on my side of the argument but is being mean spirited about it.

I am going to go to my company's Christmas party and drink too much with my friends now, and wish I was at the hockey game. So no more posting from me tonight.

I am 95% cordial here. Very positive interactions like literally, almost always. Schmidt and kype get as snarky and negative as literally any griz fan I ever interact with, as you may have gathered, I think its ridiculous. Bare in mind, kyle and my battle happened during the middle end of the season,the griz were undefeated. Literally leading the conference in major categories. And he went off about specific student athletes. Just totally shit on them. And guess what? I happen to know specifically, and get messages directly, from players parents. THAT sort of shit is TOXIC for a college football program and players. Bobby specifically refers to that type of fan behavior as "rat poison", a term cloned by nick Saban about crazy and negative Fandom.

Appreciate your feedback, but I dont see im in the wrong in any way. Further, im very nice in general in person. Friendly, personable, people person, etc. However. I have very little tolerance for bullshit. I carry myself in life just like I do on this forum. Positive, engaging, enjoy the banter etc , and most certainly going to share my opinion and not take idiocy.

I didn’t “shit” on any individual. I said the the offensive line sucked during the UND game, which it objectively did — 6 sacks and about 2 ypc. I’d guess the coaches delivered a pretty similar message. May have even used stronger language. At the time we were also sixth in ypc in conference games. I had concerns about the offensive line that still haven’t been answered. I think they’ve done better protecting Ah Yat, albeit against weaker competition. At the same time, they have been inconsistent in the run game. I thought they were generally good against MSU allowing us to run the ball effectively. But it was pretty clear Pease didn’t trust them to hold up against MSU’s front 4 in pass protection.
I made a pretty innocent joke that I would expect any grown man could handle and shake off. You flew off the handle and tried to make things personal, including assertions you don’t know anything about.

For the record I never have wanted to coach, so for whoever started this thread I am sorry but I am out. Thank you though for wanting the Griz to be better and not failing victim to the cult of mediocre Griz football, of which the leaders are posting on here repeatedly. They seem to be happy with one Big Sky Championship and one National title appearance in 16 years. They also seem pretty content losing to the Cats 7 of 9 years. I am happy that you demand better and are vocal about it to counter these people’s terrible opinions. You are doing great work.

Perhaps if we come together instead of wasting time on this site we can invest in the program and cure some of the previously stated deficiencies. It is certainly better than claiming everything is fine when we have had one good year in 15 and the Cats have owned us for a decade. Or we can cry about my show on here and get dominated for another decade. Your call.

(Also Jack, I have called you out by name repeatedly, especially after that Ass “give the OL some love” post. Listen to the show. I ain’t hard to find.)
