Anyone have an idea as to why he chose Sac st? Reason I ask is because the school is in a unique situation at this point. I believe they are FCS independent next year with no clear path to FBS. Can they qualify for playoffs next year? Did they give him a large NIL deal?
He seems like a very good qb could he have gone to an FBS program?
Either way good luck to the young man.

He got sold a bill of goods, and the university down hwy 93 to the south of him had already got a commitment from a far better qb prospect? 🤷‍♂️
 
I'm thinking he didn't pick us or the Kittens due to full QB rooms maybe? We have AhYat for 2 more years, with Flowers (hope we can keep him) behind him and they're probably hoping to keep Lamson around for another year but don't know who they have after that.

Exactly!! How do I know, I was one. Academic accolades coming out my ears, back when there weren’t any make-up tests… volunteering in the community, and held 2 jobs. I still partied like a maniac and was very female motivated, just like EVERY other male teenager, lol, no disrespect intended at all, it’s simply biology. I’m also a girl dad of two teens, bc God has a dark sense of humor and is getting even… damnit!! 😮‍💨

I had my first drink in college.
 
I don't know for sure, but starting with high school, Grady Bennett has gotten a lot of these kind of kids in like Mike Reilly who was QB at CWU the first time they came to Missoula in 2008 that had go to Washington State first, like Grady is some QB whisperer or something. Anyway, I'm not surprised the kid ended up at Glacier and I felt like he was given the line on Suck St moving up and he bought the story. They got a few good recruits out of that, but I feel like a lot of them will jump off the boat before they play for and FCS independent, or even an FBS independent.
I have been waiting for him to head someplace else, and now that their season is over, we'll see. I feel we have better options on the way in and hoping we keep Ah Yat for two more seasons ahead of that.
