Great idea. I should vote down all the bad posts I didn't comment on, unless I responded.
What is your football pedigree? If you are living in Arizona you should know Hamilton High School in Chandler. One of my buddies played there with 3 guys who made it to NFL. Tyler Shough was there but didn’t play at the same time because he was a few years younger than my buddy. How many people do you know who have been on the field at the same time as one of the starting NFL qb this upcoming weekend? I also know someone who played with Josh Allen at Wyoming that’s 2/32 NFL qb.

Robby would provide some much needed help with:

- secondary / safety experience in this defense, he's played in it and helped teach guys as a player

- special teams

- recruiting, he'd be the youngest guy on staff and would probably connect better with kids around the state and region better than most others

Agreed him and Keaton together would be fire for recruiting

Portland State Athletics Announces Football Coaching Change

Story Links

Portland State Football Coach Bruce Barnum has been relieved of his coaching duties following the conclusion of the Vikings season on Saturday. His coaching staff will not be retained. Director of Athletics Matt Billings made the announcement on Saturday evening after speaking to the team. PSU will begin a national search for a new head coach immediately.

It's funny how a lot of the best coaches in college football and the NFL are nepotism hires.

If someone grows up in a football coaching household, I don't know why people are shocked that they become better at coaching football.
Or, you could argue that is why most football is generic and sucks especially the NFL. Do you ever wonder why the coaches that succeed like Cignetti at Indiana, Dillingham at ASU, Campbell at Detroit etc for example, are different?
