I don’t even think this film is worth watching if you’re the Griz. UNH was uncomfortable from the minute they kicked off. Their defense left the receivers wide open the entire game. They clearly couldn’t throw the ball, they had some success on the ground but that’s to be expected with bad footing. Mason being back definitely makes SDSU much more of a test, but he’ll also be tested a lot more than he was today. This is gonna be a test for both teams, but if I’m the Griz, I’m knocking Mason on his ass all day. Challenge him with that bad foot and prove that he can make the throws. If we beat them next week, then I would think this will be a great confidence boost for the team with USD and the cats lurking in the background.

I agree. Little to nothing to glean from the first round in general in my opinion. We know we have to play a great game to win next Saturday, that’s about it

Depends on your position too. Long snapping, kicking and to a lesser extent punting all kinda suck in any wet conditions including snow. The key is to always have a dry towel on you to dry your hands and the ball off.
