Lekeldrick Bridges?

What happened to Lekeldrick Bridges? The hype on him after last season was huge, but aside from a few plays early on I haven't even seen him anywhere near the field. Anyone know anything?

Had a hard time catching the football, then had a very horrible fumble on an attempted reverse in a game mid season. Only a freshman, I hope he has a great off season of development and comes back strong. Elite athleticism but certainly got demoted due to specific issues of catching and literally havent seen him touch the field since the horrendous fumble several weeks ago.

Didn’t I call that and got shit on by several people here?

Thanks for the honest answer. I am guessing the drops maybe happened in practice? I remember the fumble. Was so bizarre that it pretty much ended his season. Even with Bobby's track record with turnovers (I think he got it back) but lost 20 yards or so. I honestly was thinking it was an injury.

That he was playing himself out of the rotation with his drops and that fumble…specifically made the comment after that fumble that he might not see the field again.
Your initial post was playing himself ** off the team**. Very pessimistic point to say about a freshman. I remember the discussion vividly. He lost his spot in the rotation, but again, my point is hes only a frosh, my hope is he can develop his pass catching ability, because hes FAST.

It was not good. It ended up being a turnover. But that was after a fall camp with several drops, and a few bad ones in the initial few games, hopefully he'll regroup and develop.

He better commit to practicing with qbs and the Juggs machine every day in the off-season.

Repetition catching tennis and waffle balls. Then, catching footballs are EASY!
I'm sure Brooks Davis could introduce him to baseball fielding drills too. Baseball is immensely advantageous for WR, DBs and QBs.

Youre damn straight. Baseball is hugely beneficial as stated above.

He should play handball. One of the best sports for developing hand-eye coordination.

Well, if he never sees the field that’s essentially what he’s done.

I hope he gets another shot.

FWIW, his name is Lekeldrick Bridges. It's an "e" after the first "L".
Thanks and my bad. Certainly didn't mean any disrespect to him. I am hoping things come around and he is given opportunities going forward. It has been great to see guys like Corbin Hendrix, Elijah Brady, DeAnte Gentry, and the Beaner brothers get opportunities. I think those guys are future Griz fan household names in the making. Lekeldrick seemed like he was headed that way last year.
