Interesting FCS Meetings this week, Private Equity Playoffs on horizon?

Because it’s 12 and 1 on the east coast.
2 at 10 am, 2 at 1 pm, 2 at 4 pm, and 2 at 7 pm.
greatly increases the viewership potential!

my biggest complaint about BSC is the same thing. MSU and UM kickoff at the same time sucks. automatically decreases number of viewers for each game. and both home on the same week is worse! one should be away and one home each weekend, except when you schedule 8 home games 😋

$35.00 playoff tickets would probably be a thing of the past.
PE Managers probably rated ticket prices near the top, along with TV/Streaming revenue, while building the proposed investment pro forma. Imagine what U of M could have done in ticket revenues for playoff games if those prices were fair market driven. Example a few years ago I paid $35 for a ticket to Griz v NDSU and I recall that I would have paid 10x that to get into that game. Thats lost revenues to these schools.

Doesn’t matter how much you would have increased the price because the NC double a$$holes take 70-80% of the revenue above the set base cost for hosting. It’s why MSU actually lost money in their run last year. We made a small profit in 2023. More comes from concession and beer sales as I don’t think they have their hands in those pockets. I’d rather UM charge extra for parking passes or whatever knowing 100% goes to the school.

PE would do exactly the same. Pinch it tighter and in the end the schools lose.

very few teams draw 7000 for round one or two.
