They're crazy if they dont move up. As are we, but i digress. Here's to hoping a new conference takes shape and we're fbs soon. Give me more entertaining regular season games, conference championship game, and a group of 5 national championship bracket!!

Well there is no guarantee they are moving up, but OSU isn't attractive enough to jump right now.

If and when we move up NDSU will be a permanent fixture in the top 25 every year. Should make the playoffs by the 3rd year. Then we take over the FBS too

According to Sagarin NDSU would be the highest rated group of 5 team over JMU. They would be able to compete for the CFP year 1 in the FBS.

To be fair signing an extension doesn't guarantee that they're going to stay, but I'd be shocked if they didn't try to move up and be annoyed as hell that we're not.

Honestly it wouldn't be surprising. Wont come as easy as the FCS did but i can see it happening eventually. I mean as contenders anyway and getting one here and there

I see NDSU competing to make the playoff but they have no chance against programs with much bigger budgets across a whole playoff. Like how Boise State beat Adrian Peterson’s Oklahoma team once NDSU could win a playoff game but that’s the ceiling. The SEC, Big 10 and some Big 12 and ACC programs budgets and recruiting bases are just so much better than NDSU or Boise State.

Good for him. A loyalist. Could have moved up. I'm not an NDSU fan, but damn, he's loyal and that's a rarity. Only positive post I'll ever have about NDSU.
