ZooMontana here in Billings has also just become the home of two bobcat kittens, male and female

that were orphaned in NW Montana, one near Kalispell the other near Missoula.
I think most people

don't realize how small Bobcats are, bigger than house cats obviously but still very small, with most females weighing 15-20 pounds and males, 20-25 pounds with a big male weighing 30-40 pounds. For obvious reasons, their main pray is rabbits. Bobcats are so small and unimpressive that MSU doesn't play the growl of a bobcat at their home games in Bozeman, which sounds like a house cat on steroids, but the much louder, robust growl of the much bigger, faster, and more powerful and occasionally dangerous to humans mountain lion. Maybe MSU should become the cougars or mountain lions ?
Don't worry, ZooMontana is going to fix their new bobcats because the last thing Billings needs is more Shi__y Kitties : ( !!!
( ZooMontana also has three grizzly bears

, Ozzy, an adult griz from Yellowstone that was raiding a campground in Norris-- and Willie and George, two-year olds, that along with mom were breaking into tents and cars in NW Mont. and arrived @ ZooMontana courtesy of Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks.)
