Chase is great at driving and dishing.
He's so quick. Hicks is athletic and great awareness. He played with 4 fouls for many minutes. Poly went at him, but he never committed a 5th foul. He actually kept his arms up and stuck with his man.
That's not easy to do at any level. Not many players can defend well in foul trouble. That really impressed me.
Isaak (sp?) is a glue guy and solid at everything. I think he scored 18 or 19 very quietly.
Money was terrific. He got robbed of a few assists too. Terrific passes his teammates missed or not ready for the ball.
I'm disappointed, Betts isn't seeing more minutes. He's just a player I really like.

I think Betts may get rotated in as the season wears on... he was injured some in the fall, so maybe have missed some practice. I bet he works back in!

Money is so good…..if he can develop a consistent three point shot he would average 30 a game.
Interesting game. Money goes to the bench with 2 fouls in the first half with 9 minutes remaining. The boys did a good job without him though, especially Hicks. It helped that Cal Poly went on a 7 minute scoring drought. People complain about our droughts lol. Money definitely took over the second half but I wasn’t very happy about how easily Poly was attacking the rim. They got into the paint way too easy tonight. Gotta fix that. Thought Sawyer had a rough night on both ends.
Regardless, we’re 4-1. It was a great week for the team and now they got a big challenge ahead of them in College Station on Tuesday! Liking the team so far!

Money, 30 and 31 in consecutive games, is incredible. Isaak reminds me of Kai Johnson. He attacks the basket, rebounds, passes well, and can step back for the three. He's a baller. The team is moving the ball around so well. Go Griz!!!

I really hope u r right.
I love how well he moves on defense.
He's capable of defending any type of player, except a big inside bully.
Offensively he moves well without the ball, has nice touch inside and is a 3 pt threat too. I wouldn't hesitate to have him as the 1st big off the bench. He can play 3, 4, or 5 against opponents without a true big.
Truly hope DeCuire gets him more minutes before conference play. I believe Betts would reward and benefit the team nicely. Then again, he's still young. Maybe DeCuire questions if Betts can be consistent? I think he would be.
I'm on Betts early, like I was Oke.
Oke turned out to be very solid on the boards and defense. If Betts had another 15 pounds, he'd likely get more opportunity.
