Portland State Vikings scouting report

I want to see the Hook and Ladder, the double reverse Wortham pass to Gale, the PAT 2pt attempt with a shovel pass, Wortham jump pass to a TE releasing either down the seam or on a crosser, Tennessee special on KOR, Griz special on offense, and a pressure package on D with three LBs rushing and three DLs dropping into coverage. That last one works every time in Madden.
Are we saving the Annexation of Puerto Rico for the Cats?

We'll go up 28-0, take our foot off the gas and the game will end up something like 38-20. Hopefully the coaches realized being up by 3 scores in the 1st Quarter won't prevent a lower tier Big Sky cool keeping it close, so let's try 4 scores.
I don't think the foot comes off the gas until the Bye week of the playoffs. Think it's gonna be high octane gas, as well. Pedal to the metal. Im out of car metaphors.

I just wanna see a basic screen pass to a RB. Please...

Just like the city.
Curious to hear what you think the city of Portland has 'devolved' into.

I live in the Portland area, and go through the city multiple times/week.

1. The city is not 'burning'
2. There is no 'looting'
3. There is no 'chaos'
4. There is no 'war zone'

Five years ago, there was a much larger problem (in a very small part of the city, mind you), and many of those statements could arguably have been used to describe the situation.

Now, though, there is a small cadre, usually 2-3 dozen, of mostly peaceful but definitely loud, protesting people, a large proportion of whom are wearing costumes, in front of less than one city block near the ICE building. There is no burning, or looting, or chaos. It is definitely not a 'war zone'.

The vast majority of the violence that has come from this, and there hasn't been that much, has been ICE personnel attacking protesters after the protesters yell something the ICE personnel doesn't like.

Portland still has a large population of homeless people, not unlike most of the large urban areas in the country. This has more to do with the exorbitant cost of housing, drug addiction, and mental health issues than to anything the city has done wrong (although the city administration has been slow to address the issue in any successful way to this point--they may be turning the corner on this, though).

Sorry for the political nature of this post, if you see it that way.

I mostly post it to assuage any fears Griz fans may have of attending a game in downtown Portland. If I thought there was a danger to doing this, I wouldn't be taking 10 of my friends and family, including my 11-year-old grandson, to the game tomorrow.

Go Griz!

That's not what I see on FoxNews and OAN.

Chill out with the doom and gloom. R E L A X. This is the #2 team in the country against the #42,018th team. Weather looks good. The opening line was -34.5 and I fully anticipate the Griz cover. Robbie on the other side doesn't scare me. UM has dudes. PSU doesn't. Robbie can't magically make their players more talented. UM will use this game to lay the groundwork for 11/22. PSU has zero to play for.
How often have the Griz beat the spread in recent years? Doesn’t seem like a lot.

don't believe everything you see on television
Was there a few times in the last 1.5 years. I believe it and have seen it. PDX has let a lot of their city go to absolute sh!t. There are still some wonderful spots in the town, great spots to eat, etc. My oldest two kids both thought it was eye-opening to see what is going on in Portland. Especially to see what it has become in the last 15 years.
