Agree Hoops. Truthfully, the Griz played this game-and will play the PSU game-without revealing too much to the Cats. This is a process. Everything was very vanilla for a reason. We know the Griz average 35 minutes of possession per game, but if you have any observation at all, the offense absolutely did not adjust-intentionally. The defense was on the field for 38 minutes. If you think that this is not intentional, you're an idiot 1983. This is a 10-0 team for a reason. Bobby gets it. His coaches get it. The players get it. That's all that matters. Onto PSU and then the Brawl. Go #2 Griz!!! Bring it on!
 
It appears Bobby’s strategy is to make teams one dimensional. That was a hell of a dimension yesterday. That kid kind of snuck up on people…someone on Twitter said he’s their highest rated recruit in years. He showed it yesterday.

something needs to be fixed. Lamson will eat this defensive scheme up.

I’m real concerned about that as well. Not sure how this defense is going to stack up against the neighbors. Right now it doesn’t look good. Hell they beat EWU 56-3 or something like that.

That QB passed up on 4-5 FBS offers to play for EWU. He’s legit and going to give the conference fits for years.

The defense was dog ass tired at the end of that game. The offense couldn't get conversions and stay on the field and the defense kept not breaking. Weren't perfect, but its a team game. No time to jump in the offense either, they've obviously been great. I remain confident in both.

That’s a fair point. The offense certainly wasn’t doing the defense any favors. But the defense allowing all those 3rd and long conversions isn’t on the offense. Wide open guys across the middle all dang game wasn’t on the offense either. Giving up 450 yards passing is pretty bad no matter how you spin it man. But to your point, no the offense definitely didn’t help. 1/10 on third down conversions is bad, and play calling in the second half was simply atrocious. Everyone knew that the first play would be a run up the gut. Everyone also knows that when we run wildcat wortham is keeping it. The wildcat hasn’t been particularly successful outside of the Idaho game. Anyways, I digress. It’s hard to argue that the sky is falling when the team is 10-0, but I don’t exactly get the warm and fuzzies from this game either. Onto the next one.

There were several PI calls that were huge conversions, and I dont buy all the calls. Several balls were just thrown up with their qb under pressure, and I'm not even sure they were catchable balls. They got bailed out. Can't totally blame the refs, gotta play the ball better, too...but those balls were just chicked up there.

If what we saw in Qtrs 2-4 yesterday is what we see in 2 weeks then we are in for a world of hurt.
But it won't be.

This is how clueless some of our fans at Montana are. Posting a thread suggesting we got outcoached in a game we won. This just makes me laugh. We got people on here saying Best is a better coach then Hauck because they almost beat us. Give me a break! Any sign of adversity and some of you fans are willing to jump ship and annoint the opposing team and coaches as amazing.
This is how dumb Best is as a coach, in the final drive of the game and on the final play, you ask your QB and Center who just ran a total of 91 offensive plays out of shotgun, you ask your QB to go under center for the 92nd play to take a snap under center. I've seen this in every level of football I've played, from pop warner, to high school, to college to the pros. 9 out of 10 times your QB and center will fumble the snap under center if you haven't done it all game.
If you watch the play the QB didn't even get the ball cleanly and it wasn't because he was rushing to spike it. The Center who was used to shotgunning 91 snaps before that snapped it like a shotgun on the 92nd snap this the snap came up high which is why the QB didn't receive it cleanly. Some of you fans also need to understand this is the 10th straight week of playing football for these kids. I don't care who you are, it's going to take a toll as you can see because our defense is dealing with a lot of injuries. Some of you guys need to stop with this over the top over reacting nonsense. Have faith in our team and coaches. This team has worked hard all year and are at 10-0, they deserve everyone's respect.

Barnum won't come into WaGriz at all. The PSU game is in Portland.

Did Eastern play their 10th consecutive game without a bye yesterday ? MSU ? NDSU ? SDSU ? UND ? Tarelton ? Lehigh?

Did Jake Schakel even play against MSU ? So since he didn't, is that an apples to apples comparison that you made, EWU vs MSU vs. EWU vs.UM ?

Since Aaron Best is such a great coach, why did his young QB fumble the decisive snap with the game on the line ...could it be poor coaching ?

How many winning seasons @ Eastern has Coach Best had ? After yesterday's loss to UM, aren't the Eagles 3-7 with a bye week while Da GRIZ are 10-0 with no bye week ?

Did MSU, NDSU, SDSU, UND, Lehigh, Tarleton have 8 sacks, 12 TFL's and 2 picks yesterday ?

Are MSU, SDSU, UND, NDSU, Lehigh and Tarelton 10-0 after playing 10 games in a row with no bye ?
