What control do you or any fan have over what happens with the team? Do you think the coaches, who have over 300 years of combined coaching experience, don't rewatch the game and evaluate the game and every player? Do you think your criticism might be without knowledge of the game, the strategy, the play call, and the assignments? If you want to show that you can critique with knowledge, start a YouTube channel like Samuel Akem and share your critiques. Otherwise, your criticism falls on deaf ears because you are making assumptions and when you assume you make an "ass" outta "u" and me"Hoops just stop ok? It’s totally reasonable for anyone to be concerned over what they saw yesterday. This is one of several instances where the game was in hand early, and then we let them back in. I get tired of you thinking everything is just peachy all the time. There’s fair criticism to be have of this team over some things we’ve seen. Yes we’re 10-0 and at the end of the day that’s the most important stat in Football, but I also think it’s reasonable for anyone to be concerned about the game in two weeks. They’ll be the toughest opponent we’ve seen all year and if we play like we did yesterday, then they could very well run us out of the stadium.
My advice, quit bitching about what other people think. Everyone has an opinion and there’s a lot of fair points on both sides.
Spot on mthoopsfan. Look at Indiana against Penn State, 0-6 in the Big Ten. Penn State almost pulled off the upset and Indiana barely pulled out the game on a last second TD reception. Great college football teams will have stinkers during a season.GTID, you can stop. I asked a serious question. I don’t think everything is peachy all the time. But I understand the game and can see the strength of the team.
Why do so many Griz fans think that top teams dominate every game? They don’t. Jeez, look at NDSU the last 2 weeks. Why do so many Griz fans think close or tough wins spell disaster?

I agree. We shall see.I think UND could have been the toughest opponent we will face during the regular season, and let's see how Davis does in Boz Angeles next week.
I just think it's a bit premature to say MSU is the toughest opponent we will face during the regular season. Maybe you're right and maybe you're not.
Everyone on Egriz knows more than all of these coaches and players. 10-0 is still 10-0, no matter what. The game was too close yesterday, and we all would have liked it not to come down to a mishandled snap, but it's football. It's a game where weird shit happens. IMO, the NDSU vs UND game came down to call made by the refs that the lateral was a forward pass. I didn't think it was. Totally gave the game to NDSU. MSU beat Mercyhurst 17-0 AT HOME! What happened there? Anything can happen any week. A team doesn't accidentally go 10-0. Relax people-and Oldgrizzly, who might be a person but probably not-and let this thing play out. And MSU better not take Cal Davis lightly. They're a damn good team. Finally, Go Griz!!!What control do you or any fan have over what happens with the team? Someone needs to lead the charge on being realistic and knowledgeable. I voted for my myself. Not every school is lucky enough to have a "special" poster like hoops to keep the "knowledgeable" dialog flowing. I am grateful hoops is so "special" and self-important.
Surprised there was even an election.Someone needs to lead the charge on being realistic and knowledgeable. I voted for my myself.
Only knowledgeable fans were asked to vote.Surprised there was even an election.
How is Montana not the hardest team UND played? NDSU had like 3 drives that were over 12 yards. 1 in the 2nd half. They never moved the ball into UND territory the 2nd half, UND turned it over there for them twice and they got 10 points. Montana beat UND in the second half period. NDSU didnt have an off game. Und just made tackles and started pressing their 2 wrs in the 2nd qtr.I agree. We shall see.
Sure seems like it.It's great entertainmentwatching two self-important posters posting in a thread about self-importance.
I think the same is true of HHBSure seems like it.
I know Hoops. He's actually a good person. No idea, why he has the online persona he does?
I think, he enjoys disagreements and the challenge of proving others wrong. Maybe the lawyer in him never leaves.
It depends who they are playing. They always choke against SDSU and NDSU even this season when SDSU is not the same strong team. They are TEMU NDSU which works well for them usually in the Big Sky but not against better MVFC teams. How is Montana not the hardest team UND played? I'd rather play NDSU than Montana this year. What am I missing with MSU? Are they better than NDSU?
