It must be becaue of our no good rotten offensive line...

The GFP last week said it best about the O-Line, Pass Blocking has been great, run blocking has been inconsistent (hence the speculation/questions about the weird play calls on 3rd/4th and short). I'm just happy to see that we've been improving each and every week, in particular Amick (I believe) did really well at Right Tackle when he got a bunch of reps vs Weber.

Amick has been improving significantly since hes taken over starting right tackle 3 games ago. Only a RS Frosh, hes got tremendous upside, and was dominant against weber.

As you all can probably(hopefully)gather, im firmly tongue in cheek now with these posts about the o line, but some of us DID call it right all along... the oline has been solid and expect consistent improvement all season long. Which is exactly what they've done.

I don't like seeing EJ lose a starting spot solely due to injury, but Amick has a great upside potential so all these reps are very significant for his development. Love to see it. If EJ can get back healthy, expect to see some rotation there.

The Oline has been improving and, at the same time, I would like to see more improvement in the run blocking. I would like to see some pin and pull in the split zone.

Here's a good video from Joe Thomas, one of the best NFL linemen.

How can a no-good at run blocking OL have UM at 4th in the conference in rushing per game (184 yards) and 28 rushing TD's (2d only to SS's 29)?

How can a no-good OL have the no. 1 rusher in the conference, who is the only runner averaging over 100 yards, and who has scored more rushing TD's than any other rusher, 13 to 9 (next best)?

How does a no-good OL support a team with the highest Total Offense average and by far the most TD's of any team in the conference (48 to the 2d best 39), as well as the 2d best average per play (6.8 to Davis' 6.9)?

Precisely.! A damn good o line that is improving. How could some fans on here possibly have been so mistaken about this position group?

Because you play weak teams.

If our OL was good our stat numbers would be doubled with this schedule

If you think our OL looked good this week, just wait until next weekend! I bet we have 500 plus yards of offense simply because of the DOLA our OL is playing with! I cant wait

Weird comment. I figured you'd be doubling down on last week's flowery commentary about how great it is....
He hopped on this thread like stink on sh!t like a good panicking little fan. O line was fine yesterday. I did not care for the play calling down the stretch, but im not in the booth and didnt see what they saw. Mistakes cost them several opportunities to move the chains, and not all o line mistakes. Panfiloff false starting on 2nd and 2 was a bad one, Norcross let him know about it on the sideline, too. That was a bone head play, and not much excuse for it.

Other take away is I like Amick at RT, hope thats where the staff settles as well.

Outside perspective… I didn’t see the und game, But the offensive performance by the Griz was better than NDSU yesterday. Leads me to think that the offensive line is underrated.

I think the Griz really needed a bye week. Not really fair for your guys as bodies need rest
