Bobcat Stadium Master Plan Released

I don't understand why they came up with such a goofy design. They just recently spent the dosh to build their south endzone seating. At that time, they knew the entire stadium rebuild was coming and that endzone horseshoe was part of the plan. So they spent their millions on that. Then they spent millions placing their new athletic center in the wrong spot. Now they continue the process by building something that does not even tie in well with any of that construction. I really think they should have hired an architect at some point.

If this actually happens, and it seems like it will, it's a very nice upgrade for them. The endzone suites are great.
The endzone suites part does look really sweet. That would be a great spot to sit on the little patio outside the box on a nice day.

On the other hand, what a perfectly descriptive difference between our North Endzone Crazies and their high priced, low energy end zone suites.

Hate to have to have the Yellowstone Clubers mingle with the unwashed masses.

I’m pretty sure the giant inflatable cat head will obstruct the view for many of those seats.

For an architectural school, everything always looks like a cinder block mind f*** from several committees. And then, of course, for an Ag school you would think they could figure out how to plant some trees somewhere...anywhere? Just a few...
Engineering. You left off Engineering. Lessee. I know, they could put their mathematical skills to use and fix the drainage system problems at the same time. Kinda like the Leaning Tower of Pisa, only on a flatter scale.

That shoud 'settle' a few problems at the same time. That way, when they cross the 50 yard line, they really will be going 'downhill.'

Why hire an architect when you have plenty of top notch engineers that have to fix a roof twice in 3 years that failed to handle snowload properly at your disposal? 😅

Why no upgrades planned for Washington-Grizzly?????
There are. Anyone who knows how to spell "fundraising" understands what's known as the "quiet phase". Intuitional and large donors are solicited during this period prior to any announcement and solicitation of general fans. Any large campaign is run this way.

Sorry to disappoint you.

I heard about possible upgrades last year. Being quiet about it is strategic and the ultimate gamesmanship. You wait for the neighbors to begin construction before announcing the Wa Griz expansion plans. That way any stadium capacity superiority they had planned to gain over UM will be eclipsed.
Yep, just like major truck companies try to wait to put out horsepower and towing capacity until a competitor has, so that they can tweak theirs to be better.
