I agree that it is crazy to put MSU above a team with a better record who beat them in their own barn.

But it could happen. I did not see it myself, but several reports said that Mason (SDSU QB1) was on the sidelines in a boot. That goes along with those "insider" claims that he has "turf toe," which can take a long time to heal. Without him, they're not close to the team that won in OT in Bozeman. The pollsters may take that into account.

I can see SDSU below the Cats, especially if their QB will be out for a while. Obviously, they are not the same team without him.
