Good:

- got a convincing win on the road after a heated week of trash talk
- Michael Wortham is DIFFERENT. He is doing things that we just don’t see from FCS players. Another huge game from him. 90 on the ground with 2 TDs and another 80 in the air with a TD and 70 in kick returns for 240 all purpose. Was averaging about 175 all purpose per game prior to this one which leads all FCS so just climbed even higher. Should be the leading candidate for Payton award and I don’t think it’s close
- Ah Yat is a DUDE. That hit he took and still delivered a TD and then got up and ran off the field….inspired his team. 16 of 24 for 196 and 3 more TDs
- Gilman had some really physical tough runs and catches with YAC
- Brooks Davis keeps impressing and shows why he was added to Jerry Rice Award Watch list…3 catches for 47 and an awesome TD
- how about Bobby drawing up that fake punt! Morrison threw a dime and a nice job by Finch to haul it in
- awesome to see the defense shut out Sac for the whole 3rd Q and a good portion of the 4th. They scored 21 early and quickly and then sat on 21 for most the 2nd half
- 6 sacks this week after 5 last week. Star tick to see some pressure get home
- Wing with a monster game on D with 3 sacks and 3 TFL
- Wilkinson also awesome on D with 8 tackles, 2 sacks, and 2.5 TFLs
- good to see Bohannon getting more healthy….had 4 catches for 35 yards but a couple timely first downs
- Griz played very disciplined football and only had a couple of penalties.
- awesome to hold the #1 rushing team in the conference to we’ll below their avg….only gave up 141 on the ground

Bad:
- this defense tends to give up 3rd and long way too often
- we really miss Loud in the secondary

Ugly:
- that hit on Ah Yat seemed a bit cheap (launched and went high). Was glad to see he was okay after that.
- the sac st small and quiet crowd after all the work their dumb ass president did to try to fill the stands. Another failure by Dr Wood

8-0 baby! Feel free to add:

I'm going in reverse order just for funsies.

UGLY: I'm not going to say anything here just to give my haters something to think about. Ha.

BAD: How stressed out I was at the beginning of this game until we scored right before halftime and I knew it was probably all going to go our way in the second half. And yes, I still think the defense needs work if we're going to have any chance at a run. I'm not backing down on that.

GOOD: other than a few head scratching play calls at times which may have admittedly been wrong reads/checks, the offense played exceptionally well. Who can even say enough good things about the weapons we have on offense? Not me. It's an embarrassment of riches. And even though the defense gave up some really crazy long plays for TDs, sure is nice to know that our offense can have us marching back down the field ourselves in short order.

GREAT: beating Pam State in their house on national TV.

I’ll add just one to the bad/concerning column.
3rd and short and 4th and short play calling and lack of success.
Two games in a row our offense starts out with a really good drive to only stall out with questionable play calls on 3rd and 4th downs and turn the possessions over.
Great Win. On to BBQ State.
Go Griz!

Their stadium has a track...bad
Also, they need one of those guys on the PA system telling everyone that it's third downnnnnn.
Cats also have one of those guys...bad
Happy our fans don't need that...good
I thought you guys had a PA announcer last time I was in Missoula. So Griz fans are some football savvy they need no need for explanations for down and distance, and no businesses need to buy ad reads because you all support them so well (despite many local sporting goods stores going out of business in the last 10 years).

Man. With that knowledgeable of fans in the stadium, why doesn’t every Big Sky school just get Joe from section 100 to be their offensive coordinator.

I loved the longer pass down sideline and the way the receiver (I think Davis) caught it with his hands.

No. 4 made several terrific plays, as others have noted.

Attendance was 16,816.
Davis' catch in the end zone for I think the first touchdown was also a fantastic catch. KAY threw a perfect ball where only the receiver could catch it, Davis caught it with his hands and hung on for the TD while going to the ground. He has top notch skills for such a young player.

It seems Pease has to make a few WTF play calls a game instead of just sticking with what's working, which is a little frustrating considering for the most part he has been calling great games this season.

Eli was at that point 2 carries for 37 yards running fresh, O-Line (particular left side) was blowing them off the ball and we run a Wortham Wildcat under Center pitch back to AhYat which what then looked like a RPO on 4th and 1 deep in their territory?! Just get the 1st down.

Good: pretty much everything on offense… Gillman! Ah Yat! Our receivers! Wortham!!! Sac has excellent running backs and a great O Line yet our defense held them to 141 rushing yards.

Bad: Passing yards allowed. Were we playing a prevent defense much of the second half? Our secondary was typically about 7 yards off the line, or more. Allowed their QB endless 10 yard completions. While nobody got beat deep, it was painful to watch.

The hit was clean. If that had been called on us, the board would be filled with comments about poor officiating. The defense is horrible, and Loud will have no impact. We made their QB look like the best passing QB in the country. How many times was our defense standing looking at the sidelines while Sac was snapping the ball? Without Wortham, this team would struggle to be 4-4. Maybe we should hire Best to help develop players. The call on 4th-and-one to have Wortham throw to Ah Yat was one of the worst O calls in Montana history. The O-line was owned again, and Eli takes way too many negative plays. And what's up with Wortham conditioning? He returns a kick and then has to take the next two plays off.

You are clueless on football. How can you be wrong so often?

The defense gave up over 200 yards to a receiver on a team that rarely throws the ball. When is the last time a Montana receiver had 200 yards in a game?
I think he’s a 10.15 100 meter guy. Bobby was concerned about him. The Griz shut down SS’s vaunted run game, so they tried to throw it. No big deal. Learn something about the game.
