What should be an unbridled celebration of one of the greatest offensive performances in the history of Montana football—on national TV no less—is marred by the dreadful performance of our defensive secondary.

—Giving up a first down on third and 19.
—Receivers with no defender within ten yards of them.
—A quarterback with a wide open field once he escapes an all out blitz.

After eight games do we have a single corner or safety worthy of all-conference consideration?

We do but, he's injured.

Griz Addict said it. We need Loud back and glad they got the victory without him. Hope he is heeling up and we may not see him until MSU or PSU. The Griz played maybe the toughest game left on their schedule last night. MSU fans won’t like that take. The truth is Sac State has a good offensive line and some very good skill players. Better than MSU’s. They also used their tight end a lot. He was big and had good hands. He had three or four catches last night. I think Sac State is one of the fastest teams overall in the FCS. Their QB played very well. Also a very undisciplined bunch and they don’t play like a team. MSU is at home for the Griz and they don’t have the skill players that Sac State does. Their QB is decent, but doesn’t have the same speed as Sac State’s. He is a good passer. Griz are going to have to commit to stop the run and leave guys on an island occasionally. They got hurt last night because of youth and inexperience. MSU has a better defensive line than Sac State’s by far and solid linebackers. Their secondary is putrid and an Achilles heel. Going to be an interesting game. Griz need some blowout games the next few weeks to rest the first stringers

You ought to check your schedule. MSU travels to Missoula this year where they have been blown out the last two trips.
Terrible sentence composition on my part. I knew that and at home for the Griz was the focus. If you read the post it was pointing to advantages U of M would have in the Brawl
