First Griz game w/kids -suggestions?

I’ve been going to Griz games the last 20 years, but always as an adult. Tomorrow I’m taking family to their first Griz game, including a couple pre-teens. While my pre-game routine usually involves fireball shots at the Montambulance, I’m thinking I may need to try something different. Any suggestions on things to do pre-game? What time does the actual pregame show start anyway (I’m usually in seat 2 minutes prior)? Appreciate any help!

There is usually some action in the main GSA tailgate…band and cheerleaders come through. Can grab food and drinks there too and some of the pre game radio shows are in there chatting. Might be a good family spot to burn some time.

The Griz walk is good if the kids are at all familiar with the team and want to get some high fives from the players.

Also, I think you can go into the Adams center to the Hall of champions and look at all the trophies and stuff that's in there. Might be interesting as well if you have time.

Watch/listen to Adam and Luke's pod and they will give you some good suggestions for things to do in Missoula before a game. I went to the Hall of Champions, visited my old stomping grounds on campus (dorms, classrooms, University Center, UM Bookstore, Griz Walk, hiked up to the M, and walked around the stadium and hit up a few tailgates.

Make sure you purchase a football for the kids and bring a sharpie so they can go down on the field after the game for photos and autographs.

Griz walk for sure and most importantly, just soak it all in with family take lots of pics and enjoy the time together. Buy em whatever they want today it’s worth it.

In the grass area of the tailgates along the kim Williams, you'll no doubt fund a great tailgate, and the kids can hop in one of many football games intensely being played by the bright young future grizzlies!!

Are you interested in language development of your progeny? Perhaps sitting in or near
the student section for a quarter could be enlightening, especially for your pre-teens.
Actually, sitting in a different section for each quarter would be very educational, as they get to see a cross section of the Griz fans at WGS on Gameday. Very diverse.
